I have a question. I have seen many artists do this, how do you trace upon a already premade background. What is that trick? Please explain. PS, I am talking about the low opacity background with a faint outline of the characters

Do you mean the sketch? For this piece, I made a few thumbnails/sketches alternatives, and I just reused the background I already painted in another thumbnail into this one since I think it’s fitting ^^ But for other cases, a lot of artists use free resources (e.g. CSP assets), photos taken by themselves, or even make 3d models to use as a base for their backgrounds. I hope this helps explain it!

Worth it! I used to be ipx user and after i switched to clip studio paint, i got no regrets!! Go for it!

I’m not sure if my input would be valid since I’ve never really used Ibispaint for comparison, but personally I think it’s worth it! They also have a trial version if you want to have a try first
