I found you about 4 months ago and I love your channel. I want to get back into art magick and share it too. I'm glad to hear that you have your life back. I hate how KZbin went from casual to a grind. I'll miss the consistent uploads but I'd rather have you have a life lol and upload whenever you want.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It did turn into a grind damn. I'm much more happy nowdays and more relaxed as well. I will conitinue doing art videos when I want to. It does feel more light hearted and real this way.

Can relate very well. I had a popular blog from 2007-2016, then I felt so empty and dropped out of everything, social media etc. Today I don't share anymore and feel better than before. I believe in sharing knowledge and ideas, but first of all, you have to feel it's the right thing to do.

Let's see what the future holds. I still believe sharing and inspiring other people is what I want to do in life. But now I switched focus in my real life rather than my online one.

Don't get me wrong, but this seems like one of your best videos. I am happy for you, and I think you are definitely onto something. Follow the signs. I don't think it's about saying farewell. It's about doing what you truly want when you want it, being honest and authentic. It's also seems about change. Take care and have fun. And it will be nice to see your artwork here from time to time.

I weirdly have a similar problem.. I’m an artist/creative and I find that if I share an idea right away (cause idk I just get excited 😅) the universe seems to smack the shit out of it and therefore me in the process 😅😅 😒

What you share on KZbin is so inspiring! I regret that you stop sharing your creative practice, but I completely understand you preferring silence. I am happy that you will continue to share your artistic creations on your channel, which are so beautiful. I wish you the best in your journey and in both of your YT channels - and yes, take your time - Long live ''slow KZbin'', even if its algorithm doesn't like it (but we do) 😉 and thank you ☺

It is amazing when we take a break it shows us we are like hermets working away on youtube, then we get the freedom back well done hope you enjoy all the things and people you will do and meet blessings always

New here, which is ironic I guess. I get where you're coming from, sort of...I'm just a bit confused. You said you have your life back now that you aren't posting... but why are you blaming KZbin for your own decision to have an unhealthy and extreme approach to posting? I don't know why you would put so much pressure on yourself to do youtube every day. There is literally no reason to do that, it's not like you had sponsors with deadlines and stuff. I mean, obviously if you're not taking care of yourself, not allowing yourself to do other things, not managing your time in such a way to not completely drain every bit of your energy...obviously it is bound to fail. It's important to come at everything in a healthy way...because I mean even if you come back in a year, things might be the same and it might fail again, unless you change your approach, and do it in a more healthy way for yourself. I hope you get what I mean. Also, for the record, it's fairly expected for a channel to grow and change topic and direction as the person who made it grows. There is no need to be rigid and put a giant label on your channel that says 》witchcraft channel only《 . Most creators have a channel that revolves around those things they like to share about their ever-evolving life, so there's much much more freedom there to experiment, to stop posting around one topic and start something new... stuff like that. I think subscribers expect this. It literally doesn't matter what you started with, there are no rules, it's your own internet space, you can do whatever you want, post whenever you want and about whatever you want. Obviously, the youtube glitch is a bummer and I'm not talking about that here. All social media has these broken algorithms and it comes with the territory of posting to have to deal with that crap. I know several channels who had the same happen to them and then they got out of it, so it's luckily possible. But anyway, I'm just talking about these other things you brought up. I hope you don't take this the wrong way! Obviously do what feels right to you, I'm just sad to see that you hated it all so much for what seems like no reason, and to know you won't be posting, since I'm a new subscriber.

I don't really agree with some things here. While it was her decision to post on KZbin this excessively, this pattern stems from having to please the KZbin-Algorithm. So if you want to start a career on KZbin (which I guess she intended to do, based on her "maybe soon to be job") you have to post on a regular basis to get promoted by the algorithm. What's also linked with that is the "witchcraft channel only", because the algorithm also suggests your channel based on what content it thinks you serve. If you're too all over the place, suggestions won't be as successful. Watching a channel evolve is something I enjoy, too, but if I subscribe a channel because they make content A, and all of a sudden they do content B, I might actually unsubscribe because I'm not interested in the new content. Imagine finding this channel and subscribing because of all their cool witchy videos that you enjoyed, only to discover that those were all old videos and now it's a channel about dry-cleaning - I'd be disappointed. A lot of big channels have multiple side channels that host their other content (reaction, vlogs, gaming, etc.) because they know exactly that: People subscribed at some point because of content A and want to keep getting content A - if you want to do something new, make a new related channel for that. So all of your arguments are valid, based on the assumption that they want to keep a channel casual and just for fun, but as soon as you try to get big, I don't think it works this way any more. I also don't really get "hate" vibes? She said she doesn't want to do regular videos about witchcraft because of the secret-sacred stuff and more free time, but I didn't see any hate towards KZbin (except the support, which is fair). So basically she's following your advice: taking her own time, not working herself to the bone, only doing what she enjoys and sharing it with the community out of fun and that doesn't seem negative to me. Anyhow, that's just my point of view, but maybe it answers some questions?

@@liamj.299 She never mentioned she had the intention to make it into a business from the get-go. She actually specifically says that she started her channel in order to connect to other witches, to share her journey, to exchange theories, etc... so that leads me to believe it was intended for fun. But regardless, by that logic, one needs to drop their entire life and fully commit to youtube in order to at all succeed...which is simply not the case. The majority of creators started like all new channels do, posting when they could and figuring it out as they went, having some form of work-life-youtube balance. Otherwise, they would have burnt out like she did and wouldn't have kept their channels. So again, by that logic, it's impossible to grow a channel in a healthy way, and that's obviously wrong. Basically what I'm trying to say is that it just seems like she put way too much pressure on herself to do things one way, which does not work for her, but actually ruins it for her... when it was supposed to be this fun thing she enjoys. Secondly, obviously a jump from witch content to dry cleaners is so far out and unrealistic, and very clearly not what I talked about. But a jump from solely witch content to stuff like art content, nature content, travel content, new hobbies, books, music, vlogs, etc... way more realistic and way more likely to still be in line with her current subscribers anyway. My impression of her channel is that it was never intended to be solely educational, so posting other things you have going on in life makes perfect sense. Lots of people follow creators like this because they click with their personality, so there's room for flexibility with content. Some videos might end up being more appealing towards those subscribers who are there for more witchy/nature-related content, and they can watch those videos and skip others... and vise-versa. It's fine, not everything we make will always appeal to everybody that follows us... It is also important to mention that there's nothing wrong with losing some subscribers and gaining new ones as your channel evolves. Perfectly normal thing that happens. And the 'hate' thing, I was mostly addressing the fact that she seems to not at all enjoy posting because the negatives of the unnecessarily intense schedule she had in place outweighed the positives for her. I used the wrong word, I didn't mean that she literally hates the channel... but yeah. That's what I meant. I'm sure she has her own reasons and my opinion doesn't matter there. But judging by what she said in the video, it seemed to me like she was sad she couldn't keep posting, because it was something she loved....so it made sense for me to bring up the point of view that the issue might be relatively easy to solve, by changing the outlook and way of doing things... That's obviously only if she did actually want to avoid (more or less) abandoning the channel and the progress she'd already made.
