You are absolutely perfect the way you are Raif! Anyone who is unable to love another human being for simply being themselves is neither spiritual nor kind. It is that simple. Only kindness and love matter. Being exactly who you are meant to be is NOT a sin........anyone with the audacity to judge others for being true to themselves is not worthy of your time, energy or love. Never forget: we are all spiritual beings merely having human experiences. You were created just perfect. You are beautiful. You are a wonderful person sweetheart. Sending you much love, light and blessings. 🧚🏼💕🧚🏼

I am glad that you shared that Christianity has amazing perspectives, even though some people who represent Christianity are largely flawed. I will start off by stating that I am a Christian and I have experienced a denial of my baptism because I am gay. Denied my baptism for Christ! Ha, I know that Jesus Christ would be HIGHLY upset with the way that the church has handled people, especially how the American church has handled people. That is not to say that every denomination of Christianity is to blame. Presbyterian, Progressive National Baptist Convention, and Epispocal denominations have been leaders in inclusion. I have never been to any of the three churches so I don't know about the treatment of people but from the outside, it does not seem to be that these churches follow the hurtful acts that some evangelical baptist churches have historically and consistently committed towards trans, non-white, and lgbtqia+ peoples. This is not to say that everyone is bad, that kind of generalization would be hurtful and a generalization is ignorant for no isolated group of people will ever fully represent everyone. The current perspective on the biblical perspective of being LGBTQIA+ is highly flawed and it goes back to the same era were people believed that they were justified in segregating people, something they are still doing today, there just lacks the signs for colored and for white. WE MUST KNOW THAT WE ARE BORN AS WE ARE WITH OUR LIKES AND OUR DISLIKES OUR PREFERENCES, ETC. Our actions are the only things that cause us to be a sin unto the Lord. Therefore, YOU ARE NOT A SIN BECAUSE OF WHO YOU ARE. I pray that you dont avoid the church due to imperfect people, in fact, I hope that it galvanizes you to fight for an equal future in the church. I would love to talk about this more Raif for I am highly passionate about this topic.

🙏🏻🙏🏻,thx you!!!!! I wish you were in my life when I came out.🙏🏻🙏🏻 for all the young men that you are helping now. Myself, I try to help in my own way too. I call my little brother , (friend) I showed him the ropes, of the gay world, and he was a great person. Now I’m so jealous. He’s married to a wonderful man. Five years ago I got to experience his wedding. Him and his partner are having a wonderful life together. I love both of them, they call me dad.❤️🌹to you

What a story! What your ex-friend did to you was horrible. Hands down. I'm glad you were able to find yourself in the midst of all that church business and live openly henceforth, painful as it was. Much love and support to you from New York! You're awesome, and thank you for sharing your story with us! ♥️

Raif, It horrifies me to know how much we don't understand the struggle of others. I am 51 years old, and I do remember how I felt at 16, when I lost my virginity prior to being married, in a very conservative family and super Catholic Country. However, suicide never crossed my mind. The worst scenario for me was never to get married because I was no longer pure. 😌 It breaks my heart because in the last two years, I met a gay man that captivated my heart and soul. His pain has become my pain. He however, cannot articulate his feelings as eloquently as you do. To hear you brought tears to my eyes and made me very sad. I wish I could have been there for you and change it. Everyone involved did what they thought was right. Even the pastor. I do recent the religious people for condemning the gay individuals. In my opinion, you are a master piece creation of God, like the rest of us are. Who are we to tell God, his creation is wrong or he made a mistake. That's too arrogant. I am elated to know we have made some progress but, there is much more to be done. You are amazing and I am so fortunate to have found your channel. I am looking forward to learning more about you, and your endeavors to create conscience and improve our interaction with others. 😍❤😘

When you realized the church pastor was “fucking with your life” was when you really accepted who you are, and started to live authentically to be who you are, and not who a bunch of irrelevant people wanted you to be, I.e. like them, to validate who THEY are not who you are. Congratulations on your journey to your true self. 👍🌈

Raif, I'd be curious to know if you still identify as Christian and still hold on to any of the Christian values or beliefs or if you totally rejected Christianity after those experiences.

I have a strong sense of spirituality and belief in a higher power and I value that aspect of all the major religions but I don’t endorse one religion over another (one is right/one is wrong)
