CONGRATS sweetheart on your coming out and living your true authentic self. Although Ive been out nearly 30 years you never stop coming out.....its an everyday thing that we must take pride in. I have been working with our gay youth for awhile now and I am here for you young people if you ever have questions or just to chat....I know of gay kids being thrown out of their houses because of who they love and its unacceptable! Parents are supposed to love their children unconditionally...although their are places for our gay youth to go to in case of emergencies like this....but I feel I want to do my part to help our gay kids not live in negativity as well...I never had anyone I can talk to when I first came out and it was quite lonely...but in time I was able to find my place in the world and take charge of my life and push through. I must agree with most of what you said, Jesse. However, for teens coming out socially, you must think twice about your surroundings/background. For example: do you have a supportive family? How well do you know your best friend? Do you even have a best friend? Is your high school accepting/tolerant of LGBTQ issues? Do you have a teacher you can talk to? In short, do you have a safe place to go if things turn out for the worst? If your answer is no, then I suggest you come out socially only when you've established that safe place or when you're financially independent. To all LGBTQ teens, have a safe journey. :-)

There's no point in blabbing your private life with these coming out videos. People don't want to hear someone else's problem, or bedroom habits. Blabbing your private information to the world just makes it look like you want attention, and want to be accepted. You don't need anyone's approval or permission to live your life as you please.
