Congratulations Johnny, for you did what I just never dared to do and at this time, it's kind of late for me, because I am already on my way to my 74th birthdate and both my parents have passed. Good for you my boy and just bear in mind that you have to take a lot of care of yourself and be responsible. I loved your video.

Great vid Johnny. And the love for your family really shows. Great family photos. Were the pictures from prints? I get so afraid that zillions of family digital pictures will get lost in wonderland and never get downloaded. (Wow, how’d I get off on that tangent??). Again, great going and it shows A LOT of work went into your video. 👍🏻👍🏻👀

Johnny I was surprised that I was one of the lucky few you told at the beginning. I just want to let you know that I love you unconditionally. I will fight for you always! Your sexual orientation does not define you. You still are one of my closest friends at home - I don't have many 🤷 I wish I was closer to you as a friend but life got in the way and so did university! you are loved dearly, if you don't know, I am so happy that you are at peace with yourself maybe for the first time ever. Love you loads, your almost favourite Jack.

Impressive video, in multiple ways. The thought, effort, production and editing are better than 99.9% of the many hundreds of coming out videos I've seen. The ignorance of your father's initial reaction really annoyed me. Clearly he has a lot to learn. Fortunately, he has you to educate him!

Good luck 🏳️🌈 you just tell them. They will appreciate your sincerity. Do it when you’re all together. So you could take that as a memory, which in the future you will take for granted. Like on a vacation or whatsoever. Do you have any siblings (you feel fine telling them)? I can tell, that 9/10 times they Do have at least one acquaintance that’s gay or lesbian so they’ll be more familiar with that than, depending on what kinda parents you have (religious, conservative, macho). Your heart tells you when it’s the right moment. 😎 you can do this 💪🏽
@lukaswilliam976 жыл бұрын
And you’re not an alien 👽 So when they tell you “we want you to be safe” of course we know what that means, but that doesn’t mean you’re any different. Lol. Straight people could catch any STD too. So that’s stupid. 😜 But the nervousness you’re feeling is just now ;)

I’m 14 And I think I’m gay. But I’m scared. Like really scared. All my life I feel like I have been pushed by my parents, family, my peers and society to be straight. I’ve been told that it’s not normal to be anything other than straight. But as time went on I began to notice that I was starting to have feelings for boys instead of girls. I kept shaking off the feeling but it kept getting stronger. I now realize after all this time that I might be gay. But I am scared to death that I am gay. I’m scared I’ll be disowned by my parents, and my friends and people around me won’t like me anymore. I don’t know what to do... I just feel like I need help or something for someone and I don’t know how to ask.

Tyler North Consider first your personal safety, especially if you live in an area that punishes lgbt people and/or you think you might be put out of your home.

Tyler, Google "help for Lgbt teens". This will you lots of info on finding and getting help and support. Being gay is not abnormal and gay people are not broken and don't need fixing. There is an enormous amount of love and support out there for Lgbt youths. Please take advantage of it as it will help you until the time you feel you will be safe coming out.

If I was a sitcom writer, I would rip off this entire video. Yes, I'd change some things and add some..I think you would have had a better reaction from your mom, if, while standing there with your pink phone and pink jumper, and said ""mom, I'm straight"!!! "She would reply "are you sure of that Johnny"??????..."you, thinking you're straight, might be a phase you're going through"""!!!!!.."give it some time and you will probably grow out of it"!!! Haha........Your dads reaction, would have been (in the sitcom) "don't you think, for the sake of our family name, you could STRAIGHTEN UP and bang out a few kids with your highschool sweetheart, then go back, to whering pink and bright yellow"?.?? Your reaction (in the sitcom) "dad, this the 21st century, it won't be long before science finds a way so that boy's can have babies"!!!!! His remark about" some gays are bizarre and kinky" was priceless!!! Your response (in my sitcom) would be "dad, I am bizarre and kinky..….your such a typical straight guy, they don't notice anything"""!!!.....I hope you take this as fun.,....I watched your video twice and almost fell out of my chair.....you are awesome..I suscribed...have a wonderful, happy, healthy New Year and best of luck at uni...
