When i came out to my sister i cried because it was so hard. She just hugged me tight, kissed my forehead and told me that she was so proud of me for being able to come out and that she will love me no matter what. My sister is amazing, just like yours.

I actually came out on accident XD My sister said she thought I was gay at dinner and, forgetting they didn't know, i blurted "No, Pansexual. Not gay." And then my dad proceeded to hand my mom 20 dollars. Apparently, they were having a bet on what I was.

my youngest sister was literally so chill about it. it was genuinely a case of 'oh ok cool can you make me a sandwich' my younger middle sister took time to get her head around it, and for a few days she couldn't hug me or look at me in the eye. now though, she seems to have come to terms with it completely. she was great with my first girlfriend and she's super supportive. my mum on the other hand..-.- isn't it always the way? ugh. love your sister steph, she should totally make a youtube channel!! :) x

My sister is always the first person I tell things too. I ended up telling her over the phone after she noticed me going down hill. When I told her she said, "Its okay, you are still my awesome sister and I love you no matter what." My mom also said the same thing, "You are my daughter and I love you no matter what." I was expecting them to disown me by making me move out and my sister keeping me from her children. I was wrong. I have told one other person outside my family, but many people still don't know. Not sure if I should say anything or just keep it to myself especially the people who try to get me with their guy friends lol. Time will well.

my sister came out to me by just saying "my girlfriend" when she was talking and I was like "girlfriend?" and she was like yeah and continued talking and I'm fine with it and my whole family and all of our relatives and friends are super excepting. I think it should always be like this, were also a super religious family but we just happen to disagree with gay being wrong, and we still think God loves everyone.

I have one! Years ago, when I was living with my mom up in Niceville, FL, I happened to be approaching the stairs of the apartment when what sounded like a suitcase came tumbling down. I looked and what I believed was my older sister's pile of stuff sat at the base of the first set of stairs. I thought, "Okay, Janelle must have just let her suitcase fall down the stairs because she's being lazy again." But, suddenly, the pile of stuff rose up and it turned out it was Janelle. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. lol Don't worry. She was fine, just a bit miffed that I was laughing. Though I did exclaim, "I thought you were your stuff!" plenty of times between gasps to let her know I wasn't making fun of her. Aren't sisters great?

Love your vid...so glad her family Knew...was similar for my sister... My sister called me to "come out" when I was stationed in Colorado with the USAF and I said: "It's about time." She was stunned. I told her I knew she was when she was 15 and I noticed how she read Cosmo. It reminded too much of how I would read it...and it made sense in later years when her "dates" were with gay men. Avowed Gay Men who I KNEW were gay, some were my friends. She was doing this to "appear" normal for our Dad who was an 'Old SCHOOL" Navy Vet. So I knew she was scared about that...also unsure how our Japanese Mom would react. When she 'came-out, both Mom and Dad were totally cool + I was glad she could STOP hiding herself. That was 24 - 25 years ago.

coming out to my sister was a bit of a funny story initially i'd come out to my mom and my mom told my dad and i had assumed they'd told her a few weeks later we're all at my grandpa's 90th b-day and they rented out a hall and everything (fancy fancy) i casually brought it up thinking she knew and she was like "wait what?" and i was all didn't the parents tell you? and she was like no the rest of the day she keeps saying "no no no......like REALLY?.....like....REALLY?" and then she stole a spoon (because years ago my dad had stolen a spoon from there) ....i might have maybe possibly helped her steal the spoon.... and we had a good laugh totally brought us a bunch closer together also steph if you're reading this i might mail you a doodle what would you like drawn? c:
