Sad part is a lot of us take for granted the time we get to spend with our families not being military. I know I'm very guilty of it. I don't spend near enough time with my wife and kids as I should. Watching these videos tears me up because of these families sacrifice while i get to sit here and take for granted something they long for. I wish I could thank them for the lesson they have taught me and for the sacrifices they have made and will make.

Even if you don't agree with what these soldiers are doing, they're human beings who have families and go away for months at a time. Leaving behind your family, even with the hopeful intent of returning back, is one of the hardest things to do. The least a person can do is be happy that their families are reunited again.
