that’s absolutely epic. the range of drama and compositional energy in this one diorama is just fantastic. looks like a scene a painter would compose.

The only critique I can possibly think of is to have a number after the update so it's easier to ascertain the timeline of your vids. If that's the only negative I can mention then you're doing something right :D . Keep up the good work.

Great stuff! I’m about to start up my own Crusader army. I love the historical wargaming. I grew up on GW like many in the hobby did, but their anti-customer predatory practices has long since driven me away as a patron of their company despite my deep love for the 40k lore and my Space Marine Chapter which I still continue to add miniatures too, only 3-D printed or purchased from alternative companies. But the historical stuff really compelled me, personally. I’ve always had a deep love for history and the ability to make armies that represent my own style and tactical choices within the frameworks of real militaries gives me that feeling I love of really being the general of an army. But not some old crusty general who hides in a bunker. A real, Alexander, Arminius and Totila style general who leads from the front atop his noble steed.
@Thor-Orion11 ай бұрын
But that’s enough about myself. This is excellent workmanship in terms of the painting and assembly of the units on your part. Excellent display pieces in addition to being beautiful representations of the practical gaming side of our hobby. Excellent work, my brother!
@Thor-Orion11 ай бұрын
You should invest in a 3-D printer and learn the software as soon as you are able. Absolute game changer for the people participating in our hobby. I still purchase miniatures from others, but having the ability to make exactly what I want in addition to having the spare funds available whenever I want something that I see from a 3-D printing company (for convenience sake, which there is something to be said for) has been so wonderful for me within this hobby. Has enabled me to thoroughly enjoy our hobby as an adult, getting back that feeling I so enjoyed as a collector in my youth, before adult responsibilities made me begin having to be more careful and deliberate with my choices of purchases within the GW Line. Once I got my first 3-D printer about 7-9 years ago it’s been a remarkable return for me to the adoration of this hobby I’ve always cherished in my heart but which was becoming more and more difficult to cultivate in light of GW’s absolutely abysmal anti-customer culture and practices.

3:52 somebody needs to make some Petra Inspired scenery/environment models. We also definitely need some of those Acre-Jerusalem-Crusader Kingdom castles and architecture as environmental models as well This is the best part about historic war gaming; getting to rewrite history and create an alternate timeline where anything can happen but where the sites, geography and scenarios are still quite familiar to all those interested in historic militaries.
