Thank you! This is what I have been looking for. However, I would love to lose the background music as in all tutorial videos. Or at least make it much softer.

I am a security researcher and tester, I use the terminal religiously whenever I am using linux. I find the GUI overwhelms me, where as the terminal is simple. Strange as it may seem, I "see" my own version of the file system in my mind when I am working on the CLI. However, when work is over, I use my desktop to game on and that has windows 10. If linux could run the same applications I would use it in a heart beat!

Great series :-) Just one note, however. When moving to a relative path it is imperative to not include the initial '/'. For example, to move from the /home/user directory to the Pictures directory just enter cd Pictures - no '/'

Yes exactly, the rule to understand every path that starts with / , it is assumed you want to go relative to top root path which is “/”

All this can be done in Windows GUI.... Why just why.... linux runs so great but no one has the balls to make user friendly GUI. For god sake people just copy what is allready working on windows. For instance i never find out how to change icon size in linux, or to se t defoult program to run mp3, And such a simple things like navigating through drives and folders is painstakingly prolonged by typing commands. AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FO THAT

+Beatrix Nuada You would have 'learned' how to do that in Windows, so just take the time to 'learn' how to do it in Linux :-) There is plenty of good documentation with most distributions of Linux. Most of the system settings can be set through, wait for it, System Settings.
