I'm glad someone agrees with me about the (lack of) value of TacView in CMO. Even if it had FoW features, I'm not sure it would add much to play. It's just sort of cool and that's about it. I think I read on Steam though that the developers are looking into a FoW feature. I'm not sure if that is true, but if so, it would help quite a bit.

Hi Eric. Let's hope. I tried to run TacView from a "recorded" game and it didn't work.

It adds immersion, but FoW is really a must.

Have they added FoW to Tacview yet? And if so how is it toggled?

If devs could add FoW then it would be ok and if you could use it for replay it would be ok, but it blows FoW and the replay feature is only available in the pro version so I can't see any reason to pay for TACVIEW... it's like opening cheat mode... it's a pity because I do think it would be nice to use

Can you tell me why my Tacview folder is in my resources folder in my command modern operations folder? And why my Tacview folder only has a data folder>mesh folder and that's it. There is no Tacview.exe option of get Tacview on my Command game (create the Tacview extract path). Does that make any sense?

1) about the mission itself, I think changing the waypoints somehow alttered the flight profile for the Skyhawks: thus, it also gave the "Type 64" combo a much greater warning time. And yes...I agree. That un-fogged 3d view sucks. And btw...those are A4Ms/ Fighting Hawks, not proper "classic" A4Bs. 2) Ya salió??? I just wanted Tac View as a mean to feel of being there. witnessing action moments like the launch of a cruise missile from a destroyer or flight operation from carrier. Perhaps even making some videos. But this need a specialized engine, like un DCS or ARMA.

Falkland was my first "war". I was about your age when it happened and I would rush to get the papers in the morning just to read about it. Nothing chauvinistic but I rooted for the Argentinians. It's just me because I always rooted for the underdogs in a football game. It was the first time that I ever got so involved in current news.

Argentinia was not very good country at time.... it was aggresive military junta, almost invade Chile...

Pregunta un poco offtopic, viendo que sos uno de los pocos argentinos que jugamos a ésto.. Hay algunos escenarios que están rotos directamente, probaste el escenario Stand Up del bando argentino? Las unidades enemigas y neutrales se revelan apenas empezás, y lo mismo pasa hasta donde he visto en el escenario brother against brother, cuando se hunde el Cartagena de Indias. No creo haber tocado algo raro, creo genuinamente que hay cosas que tienen que arreglar urgente

Maxi, avisen para 1vs1 en CMANO. Si. Somos un ´puñado. Y para mi este juego mas allá de ser excelente siempre falla en plantear las cosas como fueron porque no es asi como operan ellos...mi opinión.
