thanks for putting this out there, I'm planning on going to the prerelease but I've never played commander so I had no idea what kinds of cards to prioritize in the draft

Super helpful. Your reasoning behind each of your tips is always insightful and easy for me to understand. I am not a commander player so I didn’t look at any of the cards before going to the prerelease a few hours ago. Simply just listening to this podcast while driving to the prerelease I was able to soak up crucial info and use it to draft and build my deck. I would say I am an average skilled player but with the advice from this channel I get boosted to that above average zone. This makes FNM infinitely more enjoyable because I am able to focus on the positives of each set and avoid silly mistakes or traps. Thank you!

Thanks for doing this, Great vid! I think a lot of spike limited players could learn a lot from trying out Commander, a fun way to interact with magic. Feels more like a board game.

Thanks for the video Alex! just a little note tho, I believe Black Market Connections is actually part of the precon decks and not something you can get on the main set (since the set number goes above the normal set card size)

One thing you did mention was you just get a Faceless one, but it takes a common slot so it would need to be drafted. Edit: I was wrong

it doesnt need to be drafted, they work the same way a basic land does in limited

While I know you said you weren't deep-diving into the archetypes, I think you skipped over Black-White too much. Rather than lifegain it's archetype is actually a form of 'revolt'.
