Dear Mr Moss, do you mind when you make some booster opening, that you give at the end a quick overview how many rares, myth and List cards there was in the Box (Take the cards in the hand and switch through)? That would help a lot for statistics and gives a feeling about the set. Great opening, still not sure if I could buy the set boxes or better only buy singles.

How do lists work and are they different between set and draft boosters?

@@raygun2180 The List is basically a secondary set of reprints found within the set packs/boosters of a set. WoTC can change the cards that you can find within the List every set. Draft boosters do not have a slot within the pack for a card from The List. The List was created from the Mystery Booster experiment that WoTC conducted for a choas draft set before the pandemic officially began.

this significance of this set is potentially groundbreaking for commander players as not only did it add the backgrounds which makes for so many new deck possibilities those backgrounds work as normal enchantments for commanders as well and can potentially buff a ton of partner pairs in the 99 rather than the command zone as well

This was great to see, I had looked at several spoilers but had not seen that there would be a foil etched card in each set booster. FYI, only Legendary cards have this Foil Etched treatment, so no Foil Etched Lightning Bolt, but I expect the Foil Showcase Lightning Bolts to go for a decent price. My current intention is to buy a Bundle and 2 of each type of box for this set as well as attending 3 Prerelease events.

I think this is a weird set where there's more value in the commons/uncommons than the rares/mythics. Deadly Dispute, Bauble, Lightning bolt, Arcane Signet etc, vs large quantities of bulk. It's even a bummer when you realize that with lower pack counts per cost you can't even rely on getting crowdlands to justify the box like you could with CL. The backgrounds are only relevent for the commanders from this specific set, and tbh there's not many that are too interesting, let alone go well with the higher rarity backgrounds, so honestly I think it'd be just cheaper to personally buy the 7 or 9 chase cards, and ignore the packs. Probably super fun to draft though.

A foil command tower would be an amazing pull - aside from a few gems I think the land cycle is kinda Meh on this set. Surprised they made it more expensive while also reducing the number of packs. I hope the EV can support these price tags, I could see these going down 30-40% from their initial release price. The Background cards look interesting/cool and having new and more powerful adventures is pretty awesome but I don’t know if there is any “heavy hitter” in the set like the first Commander Legends. The Archivist of Oghma is probably the best card currently, based on prerelease prices.

Lastly, hold the cards in one hand and use the other to pull from the top of card. So that way we, the viewers, have a clear shot of the cards.
