Don’t worry republic commandos fans , the only person that died here is dr Hemlock, scorch was seen shortly before Tarkin arrived in the Hangar keeping an eye on storm troopers. He just needed some Bacta.

It was so brutal for Scorch to get shot like that. Look at the holes on his chest. It was so awful and so sad. Because he was a great soldier of the Republic. Who fought with Delta Team. We only saw him in Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Witches of the Mist, in video game, and The Bad Batch series. We didn’t see Clone Sergeant Boss, Fixer, and Sev in other shows. And we didn’t see Captain Rex, Captain Howzer, Captain Gregor, Tech, Commander Cody, and Commander Wolffe in the final episode of the Bad Batch. I wanted to see Wolffe and Scorch and the other clones change sides. I wanted to know the faiths of Tech and Cody. Now we can’t. That was so disappointing. Now the Empire is evolving their armies, ships, and their support.

Different scenarios. Tech fell a much larger distance with nothing on the ground to even remotely break his fall while wearing light armor with a tram car falling on top of him. Scorch was wearing Katarn armor which, in season 1, allowed Gregor to remain completely unharmed after being shot in the chest multiple times and also allowed Hunter to survive a comparable fall to what Scorch took also relatively unharmed. While there was absolutely zero chance of Tech surviving his much longer fall, there very much is a chance that Scorch survived.

The first shots were pretty much warning. Shots started their way and they won't kill you until they had to kill him.

It bothers me that Scorch and the other clone commandos working under Hemlock were just done away with without anything actually going into why they were still loyal to the Empire and didn't question Order 66 like the other clones.

Most clones didn't question Order 66. It doesn't need to be explained, that's how it's supposed to be.

@@yumallah After a time, most clones were indeed questioning that order. Look how many were imprisoned at Tantiss. They started questioning their orders, including Order 66 itself. Cody even said he had heard rumors of growing skepticism of the order among clone troopers, with more and more becoming disillusioned by it. And that's how it's supposed to be? You like not knowing why something was the way it was and it just being tossed away like it wasn't there? That's what happened here, and I would like an explanation why the clone commandos were different.

@@ErebusChronus-ir5osclone commandos had beef with the Jedi ever since they were told to charge with the rest of the clones on the Battle of Geonosis, resulting in more than half of them dying because they were forced to fight in a way they were not meant to.

@@501stappo8 This is a Legends fact. Current Canon and the former Legends continuities can have differences in their stories. We know that hundreds of commandos died at Geonosis in Legends, but that hasn't been extended over into current Canon, which is what Bad Batch and the Scorch and commandos I'm talking about are part of. My argument does not change

@@ErebusChronus-ir5os oh true, yeah idk. Maybe it’s just the fact that the clone commandos were not under the Jedi as much compared to regular clones. We rarely see much in the form of interaction between clone commandos and Jedis.

Crosshair's redemption is so powerful. It's hard to have a bad guy believably bounce back like that, especially when they used to be good and turned away from it. Props to the writers.

Even if they didn't give Scorch a personality or use in this show beyond mere eye candy, the very least they could have done was not have him appear in the final episode. How high must you be to bring back a character you know has nostalgia for EU fans currently engaged in the show, and kill them in an unceremonious way. I do understand why Hemlock himself had to die but still it's such a waste of a good character.

Actually, it is Scorch. I know he was a good soldier during the Clone Wars, but when the Empire was created, he left the Delta Squad and became the commander of both the stormtrooper academy and the Advanced Science Division.
