I’ve seen the entire show, and it’s insane to think that the duo of sharpe and Harper started with Wellington being saved by Sharpe himself- I won’t spoil the rest for those who haven’t watched this yet, but trust me, it’s awesome.

It's easier to write commander, otherwise you would have to write all Sharpe's ranks in the series. It says commander with a capital C, because it's at the front of a small phrase. Awarded top marks in my English language exam at school, plus my late father taught English and Latin. I don't like nitpicking, over language, that's my style sir.
