Pertaining to the conversation using food as counters, my greatest moment in MTG was a game I was not a player in. I was watching friends play EDH and Eric Klug resolved Goblin Game and said "who has a lot of objects?", so I closed up my box of blueberries and tossed them into the middle of the table. A good laugh was had by all.

I got so excited to watch this episode. I started playing magic with Wilds of Eldraine and so when lost caverns came out i built a deck around Tetzin. He has made my pods run more artifact removal because of how quickly he starts churning out the strong sides of double sided artifacts. So seeing Brian play him made me super excited. GO TETZIN AND HIS GNOMIES!

47:23 I don’t think it would have changed the game, but when Olivia swung at Brian, she could’ve dealt an extra 6 points of damage by saccing squirrels that were blocked to give Atraxa +6/-6. Would’ve been cool :) (I can’t tell if her untapped land was a swamp, but if it wasn’t I’m sure she could have tapped differently to leave a swamp up)

It's a surprising all-star in my "Everything Nahiri" deck, which includes every card that is, mentions, or shows nahiri, and the flavor text on the flip mentions her. And it being a flying, colorless creature is really relevant in matchups where two people have enough swords to make creatures that are pro-all colors

My favourite thing about this episode was Chris saying he originally built this deck to give to his new-to-commander friends to pilot with big stompy creatures.
