I'd love to see your idea of static machine guns introduced. I think you could have 1 static machine gun appear once you reach trench level 3 and perhaps a 2nd one which appears at level 4. So there's more incentive to strengthening a trench further behind the lines. Also with these static machine guns, the rifleman should be able to shoot them once they reach the upgraded trench. Once you decide to push forward the rifleman will leave the static gun and follow with the rest of the group. I love the idea of these static guns and think it could be a great way to put more focus on trench level as well as giving the standard rifleman a way to better defend a position!

Suggestions: Add different factions of the game with their own style of warfare such as the US, the French, the Austria-Hungarians, Serbians, the White Russians, the Commonwealth, and the Ottomans. I would like to see some variations. I would like to see day-and-night cycle over the battlefield. So that, when night comes, soldiers on each side will have a hard time to shoot down each other without much visibility which in case you need Spotters to light the place. More classes for each faction: Assault Team: 4-5 soldiers that have grenades to deal with soldiers in trenches or in tightly packed formations. Stormtroopers (Germany): 4 soldiers with SMGs and grenades that specialize in trench raiding and close quarter combat. Spotter: When nighttime, the spotter will shoot flares into the sky, revealing enemy soldiers on the battlefield and allowed increased accuracy than soldiers without spotters. Heavy Machine Gunner: 2 man crew, where one soldiers carries a heavy machine gunner and the other one for support. Moves slow, but can pin soldiers over the open field. Sapper: A support unit that can build defenses for you and slowly upgrade your trenches. Mortar crew: Self explanatory. Demolitionists: Summons two soldiers to rig the trenches (excluding the first trench) with explosives when the enemy captures a trench that was your trench before and explodes it with 60-100% chance of fully annihilating a formation of enemy soldiers. And many more classes that I can't think of. Add a morale system with increasing with each enemy killed or decreasing with each allied soldier killed. The lower chance of morale, the highest possibility of soldiers to desert, mutiny or joining the enemy. When you run out of morale, your soldiers will surrender. Special abilities: For the King! (Britain): Boost your soldiers morale, increasing their damage and accuracy for 15 seconds. Cooldown: 120 seconds Fear and Breakthrough (Germany): Only used when there are 4 or more Stormtroopers in a trench. When raiding an enemy trench, they can instill fear on enemy soldiers to retreat or chaos among the troops. They have increased damage in close quarter combat. Cooldown: 150 seconds. Attack of the Dead Men (Russia): Revives max of 10 troops when they are killed in combat. When revived, they will lose 25% damage and accuracy, but they can instill fear on enemy troops. Cooldown: 180 seconds. Industrial Workforce (USA): Decreases all costs of troops by 35% and increases economy by 50% when used. Cooldown: 100 seconds. They Shall Not Pass! (France): Troops in trenches will have increased protection from enemy fire and increases not getting shot by 25%. Cooldown: 100 seconds. And many more that I can't think of it. Reply to me if you want to add more into my list of suggestion for the game.

Just tried the demo, it's a pretty good game. Would love to see the full version come out soon. Just a suggestion I realized I didn't put on my previous comment (Last video on Sm-T): shotgunners are a bit underpowered for their cost, while the difference is only 25 stars, it's still more cost effective to rely on riflemen for attacks. Perhaps you could add a random chance to throw a grenade, or extra health so that they can last longer while assaulting a trench.

If you are interested in adding a unit upgrade system: you could use the level-up system to feed into a research point system. Research points are limited and you are forced into deciding what advancements you are going to make (Ex. Defensive -> Gasmasks, Offensive -> faster animation time), I could list out or make an entire document(?) on the possible technologies but, you could probably think up a better and more balanced tree with your team.

I played the demo and I have a suggestion. So far, the graphics are nice, and it runs smoothly but I think that in the full release rather than transferring your medals into stars you can use medals to increase how many stars you earn per second. I also would definitely enjoy playing the game more if I could scroll across the screen using arrow keys rather than my mouse, if you did add that it could be a feature you change in the settings.

I think that maybe you should add vains of trenches expandable into previous trenches which allows troops to move through trenches instead of having to go overtop. With a cooldown of maybe 10 seconds - 1 minute. This would allow the player to choose if they want a long term battle or fast paced battle. This would also give some risk into the game. But perhaps these vains would just go straight into the previous trench to avoid things like bullet hail (another idea.) and other things like poison gas as it might have areas to hide in. So this wouldn’t change defence but would just make it safer to travel on no man’s land. Instead of vains they should be known as tunnels perhaps. Bullet hail: This idea is interesting. It’s description would be ‘bunkers heavy cover fire.’ It would go as fast as normal bullets and come from the one side of the enemy or player. It would kill anyone above no man’s land and would decimate any tanks or other equipment (but not hurt the base otherwise it would be unfair.) in a mere few seconds. This would make the game a fast paced strategy game. Or slow paced depending on what you want to play it like. This feature also might just be locked until the later levels along with other troops and abilities. But the basics should be riflemen officer bombing barrage and precise barrage. The rest should slowly but surely be added to your collection as you go through the levels. If you see this baron please just please implement 1 of these ideas. It would be revolutionary for this game and would make my day to be seen by my 3rd favourite content creator. (1st is dantdm and 2nd is technoblade.) I don’t care if your not first. Your videos are the most engaging. Technoblade and Dantdm aren’t as fun as you. But they have memories with me. Well sorry if this last part wasted your time but if you do implement anything please mention my name in credits as well as everyone else who gave you ideas!(Day 3.)

Here's a tactic that will help you Baron. I noticed you haven't been keeping a reserve force in the line behind your front trench. This will allow you to accumulate more forces without having to worry about them all being blown up in an artillery barrage. Ususally I only keep a token force of maybe 6 rifleman and 1 sniper in the front trench, then accumulate as much rifleman and whatever free units I get in the trench behind. Usually the AI will barrage that front trench and then attack. Sometimes they can take that front trench but it's not a big deal, I just make that reserve trench my front trench and start accumulating in the trench behind that one. One I get a star crate or a free barrage I take out the main enemy trench with the barrage then send everything. And at that point I can sweep. Got a 5 minute victory on the hard difficulty with the map with more trenches, less than 3 minutes with the map with less trenches.

Maybe not in the main game but a good different mode would be to involve morale of the troops. You could hire MP units who would sit in the line behind the main line and shoot any deserters that tried to leave. Otherwise there's a stream of deserters whenever they're way outnumbered against an attack, a single guy sitting on the front line is not going to fight against an entire army unless there's an mp ready to shoot him

Hey Baron, good game. Few suggestions. With the rewards you get when you level up. For summoning units maybe include multiple units to be summoned in a single card (there almost no circumstance where summoning a single infantry unit is better than any other card to choose from) this will make the ones with weaker soldiers balance to be a little more on par with researching new units and summoning mega units (tanks). That would all the cards have some value rather than some throw away cards. Second, I would include better means of micromanaging the movement of your troops. Like being able to move only shotguns forward or 2 infantry and an officer out of the 7 units in the trench, and allow some of the units to retreat. That would be nice. Overall good game, excited to see what it is when it’s released.

I recommend making it so bodies stay, with an option in the menu for how long, all the way up to forever. Also adding gore and dismemberment would be phenomenal. The way the bodies decayed in cow is a good example but having the bodies stay forever and decay slower would be amazing. Seeing artillery throw the bodies around would be amazing as well

I think a campaign would be epic. Like you could have different historical battles for example you could have -Verdun. - or it could introduce new features like an engineer that makes barbed wire for the enemies and you would need to charge a very large no man’s land and then after that you would unlock the engineer. -Or have just a big defense against a lot of enemies (sorta like endless, but it ends. If that makes sense). - or have like 2 minutes to prepare against a massive attack, like with artillery and tanks from the enemy and you would need to space out your units over multiple trenches or you’ll just get bombed. - maybe you could have different real battles, but they are different if you’re doing the German campaign or British. Idk the possibilities are endless and I would love to see that.

what would be cool is that if you add a "mass people" setting. basically the same stuff but when you buy one unit, it spawns 10 of that unit instead of 1, would love to see a mass rush. i would aswell love to see a 'create your own map' feature.

I can not leave a review on the steam store page, but I'll leave my thoughts here. 1: love this game already, this is such a fun and simple concept as it is and after watching you show case the endless mode on your youtube channel I am waiting to buy this on steam. 2: ideas. Colour coding the rarity of summons and drops is a fantastic idea. Defiantly do that. 3: Faction specific bonus's make sense. Maybe the Germans have it slightly cheaper to deploy tanks or get tank summons slightly more. Maybe the Brits get slightly cheaper Officers or Officer summons lightly more often. 4: Trench upgrades. I like spending stars to make your trenches better and the idea that your enemy can take trench you control and keep the defence bonus is great. BUT what if their were more trench upgrades? Maybe weapons that face one way so even if the enemy takes the trench they cant use them, or they have to spend stars to rotate them? Obviously you don't want trench guns and trench mortars to be cheep... the idea of the game is to attack not to defend. 5: Base upgrades were an idea you mentioned. Awesome idea, having a few slots like... 3-4 on your base you can make a solider to fill so their will always be a gun or two between the enemy and victory. 6: An idea was mentioned that regular troops in trenches should be able to shoot the next trench over and that snipes shouldn't be the only ones to do that. I don't like that idea, even if a rifle man is unlikely to hit you can buy 3 rifle men for the price of one sniper... it would render the sniper less useful and turn the game from trying to compose effective groups of troops to attack and defend into spamming as man troops as you can. Unless the only other unit that can fire from another trench is the rifle man, it's insanely unlikely to hit and the range of a regular sniper is buffed... not a game dev, just my thoughts on the idea. 7: More factions, this game is loosely based on WW1, Not a WW1 game, loosely based on right? Why not add the French the Italians the Russian's and the Americans, over time of coarse. Again my idea for faction specific bonus's. Each of them could have like a 'This is our kinda unit' profile where their version of the Sniper or Shot-gun or Machine Gun or what ever is slightly cheaper or upgrades for it are more likely. 8: I know you said you had the hope for this to be a short, few minute game with a simple UI you could fit on a phone, and I love the simple UI it's so cute. But I 100% wouldn't mind for this to be a 10-15 minute long game with a bit more stuff going on... not like a slog of a game something akin to Plants Vs Zombies the first one. Small resource management and then troop composition. I hope that all this wasn't like... too much and I hope your vision for the game flowers. These were just things I wanna see but still eager to see how the game comes along.

I think that the rifleman unit should call in 3 or 4 riflemen instead of only 1, but keep the price the same. This would make them just a bit more useful, and also make the battles feel bigger rather than just having 3 soldiers charge a trench of 3 soldiers. That seems to mostly happen in the early stages of a game, but this would reduce that and also make building attacks faster later in the game. Alternatively, add in “squad” cards which could call in a group of certain units. Examples could be an infantry squad (4 riflemen), machine gun squad (Mg and 2 riflemen) or something like that. I feel like both options could help build the scale of the game.

I have two suggestions, might not fit with the theme. But add the ability to make a turret in a trench, it would cost quite a bit of money but you would also have to get a unit to man it. And different units could have different turret abilities. For example, machine gunners have faster turret fire but smaller range, snipers have longer range but slower fire, rifle men are basic, officers would do more damage, and shot gunners have a shotgun like fire. The turrets would have more health than a normal units but can’t move. You could also add medics which would do almost no damage but heal other units in a trench.idk, just some ideas.

i know you wont ever see this but i’ve been watching all these videos and i think i have a great idea! i also got the demo on steam ;) Suggestion: ERA game mode: • You either choose to attack or defend a.) Defend (France Britton) b.) Attack (Germany) • you have like 10 rounds, each round is say 10 minutes a.) attackers need to take the final trench and defenders need to keep the final trench before the 10 minutes is up. b.)get X amount of funds and can spawn in only infantry divisions. as the rounds go on, say round 3 machine guns, round 5 artillery, round 8 tanks etc, attackers and defenders get bonuses • ERA’s also has a path progression system where the outcome of the campaign depends on your wins and losses a.) say france is holding in amiens, they hold, so round 2 is amiens again, and if the germans take it they get pushed back to the forests. b.) it would make the player feel more into the game and more connected with their campaign. c.) this could add dynamic terrain • Dynamic terrain a.) this could be city rubble (just another reskinned trench or like a tree line! •Technology tree, as the ERA rounds go on, you gain TP or technology points where you get the chance to unlock things like gas masks, or gas attack, or machine gunners. • Multiplayer support. you vs ur friend in a head to head full out war in the trenches over the course of 10 rounds.

Units from ww1 to add: Bazoka unit Flame unit Granadier unit One thing im see its about tanks,the tanks are too fast and weak in hp and to maybe make they stronger its better reduce the speed by half and increase the max hp. Units upgrades:you can put special slots in units and put equips who you get in levels for exemple sniper have 1 slot you put the "better bullet" equip and increase the damage by 50% but reduce the fire rate. Heroes/generals:you have a unique unit who can upgrade life,damage,etc and this unit can use any weapons who you choose.

Perhaps Medals could be used to upgrade the cards you get. For example, if you have a summon rifleman card, you can add 2, 3, 4, 5 rifleman with the summon ability. And the more expensive the unit is the more medals are required to get an extra unit. For instance, rifleman take 1 medal, shotgunners 2, mgs 3, officers 4, and snipers 5 medals to get an extra unit. You can also do this with tanks, but I feel those should be 10 medals and they more expensive the more you want to summon, such as 10 for 1, 20 for another, 30 for the 3rd so in total it's 50 medals for 4 tanks. Artillery could be more shots/longer duration, but those should be expensive and maybe increase the cool down to balance it out. Maybe 30 medals to add a second salvo, but add 10 seconds to the cool down. You can also use this for supply, perhaps getting and additional amount of stars in the crates. This can also be an incentive to get medals as the card when it pops up. If you're doing good, might as well sacrifice some stars and/or units so you can potentially counter attack in greater numbers later on.

Artillery strikes should last longer and do less damage, cover a larger area, and fire slower. Allow the trenches to provide some cover from artillery. Therefor, artillery will become a suppressive tool, preventing enemies from wanting to push through it. As opposed to what it is now.

I just want to say three things: 1 - The game is absolutely insane and addicting, seriously I have been playing for hours now, thinking new tactics and ways to make my enemy fall. Defenetly buying when it full releases. 2 - Can't wait for the game to release in its fullest. You should add a sapper: 5 Medals, 350 stars. Why so expensive and what do they do? Sapper can place down sandbags again, barb wire to slow the enemy, place down mines, and a sniper shield to give them a higher chance to not die by an enemy one: Unlocking more ability's above your other ones.

Also some more ideas I like the idea of static machine guns but I think having you upgrade your trenches to get more upgrade slots to put in mortars machine guns bunkers that kind of thing. Also haveing day night cycle and supply routes sleeping shifts and units being able to “crawl” and getting more cover or able to get into enemy trenches which would give shotguns a big advantage wars in the trenches were slow meat grinders

One thing that improves games a lot; is skill trees. You could use medals to upgrade skill trees. The game Warfare 1917 could be an amazing inspiration for things to add. My favorite part about Warfare 1917 is how one could create different strategies by buying different upgrades, not just by using the different unit types. I absolutely love the game Warfare 1917 and seeing this game is getting me excited.

You could lock trench upgrading behind tiers on a skill tree. To upgrade to level two you need to buy and unlock the skill on the tree and THEN spend stars to upgrade the trench. And then do the same thing for level 2 to 3 and so forth. You have to buy the skill for each level you want to upgrade. You could buy specialty upgrades for your trenches like sniper shields to help defend snipers or barbed wire for more defense.

CHALLENGE FOR BARON- BEAT THE GAME ON MODERATE IN UNDER A 40 SECONDS (I did it in 37 seconds) Another suggestion for the game is have a battle mode where you have multiple fronts going at the same time, or at least a wider front. you can pan up and down between the front with W and S keys, and the fronts operate separately so even if you're on a different front, the others are still going, and if you lose2 out of 3 fronts, you lose the game.

Suggestion : there should definitely be machine guns or rifle men at the hq just so you can stay alive a bit longer if you get overwhelmed. Body’s should also stay around for a bit just so you could look at the Carnage of previous battles.

A cool thing you could do is have the artilleries make craters when they hit the ground, then have your troops hold craters when they attack; kind of like trenches. This way when troops attack, they could try to take cover from defending machine guns. With this, you could build long maps with few trenches and then have to rely on craters to simulate no mans land combat.

suggestion: you know that if you get close to the enemies base they can't really do anything at that point, well how about a morale boosting spetch ( basiclly a buff that make's enemies faster and more tanky) and reanforsment's (some random troop's spawning) could by used by the enemy (or you if you unlock them) if there are troop's close the the enemies base (or you can use it if the enemy is close to your base) to push back but these are some desperet mesure's so the troop's aren't gonna want to do it again (these power's will have a REALLY long cool down like 5-10 minutes) and the morale boost will later make the troop's lose their morale (make the troop's a bit weaker for a while)

Baron you should ad a grenadieras as a unit he runs up and throw a grenade every 5 seconds until death and you should ad a gass ability which drops gas from an airplane and poisons the enemy lastly you should ad upgrades not only for your base but also units for example upgrade their marksmanship they miss less

Played some and feel the trenches need a buff, I found way to often when I upgraded mine and had just as many units as them i'd get steam rolled over when they'd attack. Which really shouldn't happen when I had a superior position all around. Also as you said, really needs a retreat. Also be able to set a number of units in the trenches. Like once one hit x then the overflow would move to the next one. This way we can spread out forces if we want. If you wanted to use the medals for more things then they could be used to make individual units a veteran status.

An idea came to my mind for there to be two parts of the game ground and naval combat if you win a naval combat you can reduce the enemies or they can reduce your economy or if you win you can use your naval units to bombard the ground field

I would love to see a retreat option in a game like this. I've played many games like this and none of them have had the option to pull your troops back to a trench behind them. It would be absolutely awesome to have a game like this where you could fall back if you need to. Because I hate it when I have a bunch of troops in a trench that I know will likely be taken anyway and not being able to withdraw from that doomed position. This game is shaping up to be awesome, though!

I played the demo a little bit, managed to get a 2 minute time in hard mode :), so far great game, very addictive. an idea is that you could make it so that the more trenches you have the more gold or xp you get per second so that there would be more reason to have as many trenches as you can. I think that it would feel quite good. Good job on the game too, can't wait for the full release, you accualy encouraged me to start learning programing whitch I wanted to do for a while to make my own game. and now I know how to make Pong in Python. thanks!

Trenches a) Upgraded Trenches increase resource gain e.g (level 1-4, +2 +3 +4 +5) b) Upgraded Trenches increase defence level from artillery and or snipers -Artillery decrease accuracy per upgraded level trench e.g(level 1-4, 10%,15%,25%,40%) -Snipers decrease accuracy per upgraded level trench but instead of missing they hit a sandbag which slightly decreases trench defence overall c) Auto Fire (more so the unit keeps firing from the trench but with an disadvantage to aiming but will always shoot till death, only from a trench) Units a) Engineer, which can repair sandbags and MAYBE be equipped with a flame thrower b) an actual Artillery unit which has a minium range and can only target if enemy units dont move for "x" amount of seconds (could change the Artillery ablity to an Airstrike if an Artillery vehicle was added) c)Have units that are specialised in defence harder to kill or Hit rather then non specialised defence units (like sniper and HMG) d) an Anti-Artiller/Airstrike Unit that shoots flares or generates a shield with a long cooldown Game Modes a) Custom difficulty, could change settings for you and or the enemy, e.g like turning off Artillery Ability or for fun turn off trenches and have a straight fighting ground (could add prone positions), turning off/on specific units, High Resources Start and or High Resource Gain, Grace Period (spend like 1,2,5 minutes just building your units up for a big fight), Tanks only (could add different types of tanks, AA, AV, AI) b) king of the hill could be a really good (hold the trench in the middle for like 100,150,200 points/seconds but you cant upgrade the trench)

I am not a historian but i do love history and know a lot about ww1. This game is great I played the demo and love the artstyle and mechanics there isnt many games like it and this one is a masterpice in the making and i want to make a few suggestions to add that will make the game more historically accurate and make the game more interesting, (i know this game is not ment to be historically accurate but it will make the game mor imersive, more detailed and fun) Suggestions: LIGHT MACHINE GUNS: Madsen light machine gun for the germans and Lewis gun for the british and Chauchat for french (if added) FACTIONS: french, americans ....., by adding factions there would be more diffrent playstyles and diffrent units special for that faction SPECIAL UNITS: shotguns weren't really common and germans nor the british used them, insted replace them with stormtroopers for the german, and tanks for the british. Americans used them. STORMTROOPERS: they can be equipped with eather the K98k that was much shorter than standard issue Gewehr 98, which would enable them to short faster or they cam be equipped with mp18 for close range when storming a trench. They can also be equipped with grenades. They will replace the current shotgunner for the gemans and will have the same role of storming a thrench. BATTLEFIELD: add explosions in the backround, more destroyed enviroment, mud, explosions in the backround, suttle screms, rats, dead corpses and things like that that will make the battlefield look like there is an actual war going on for years. WEATHER: such as rain, fog, snow, sunny, cloudy this would effect troops movment, there accuracy, field of view and overal atmosphere and imerision TANKS: add Mark IV for the british, A7V for the germans, Saint Chamond for french or Renault FT17 (if added) Germans didnt use tanks very much instead focusing on infantry tactics, they where the first to make an AT rifle (Mauser 1918 T - Gewehr) so instead of germans having tanks they coud have and AT unit (or having a tank but much more expensive) ARTILLERY: more options such as light mortar fire, heavy artillery, and gas VOICE LINES: it would be very imersive and cool to hear suttle conversations form the troops in the trenches (in a native language), screaming GET DOWN or TAKE COVER while there is and incoming barrage, screming CHARGE, GAS GAS and such ANIMATIONS: an animation of soldiers breath in a cold weather, footprints in the mud, muddy feet, cartridges dropping by a muchinegun or reloading a rifle. STATIC MACHINE GUNS: upun having an full upgradd trench there will be a static machine gun implacment that will suppres infantry (making some of them duck or crawl and alo kill some), Vickers machine gun for the british, MGO8 for germans and Hotchkiss Mle 1914 for hte french (if added) BIGGER MAP: wider map, with wider trenches DEFENCES: being aible to build a bunker, barbed wire, mines, flares that will activate when somone steps on them in the dead of night, little bells on the barbed wire that will alert you and your troops of an incoming attack in the night or if its out of you field of view UNITS: adding a flare gunner, flamethrowers, rifle grenadires, AT rifelman FOG OF WAR: having a fog of war will make the game more interesting and will enable for better mechanics such as element of suprise (charing on the enemy trench just to see an emplaced machin gun)

Ik I said it before but it got alot of traction (100+ likes)but baron didn't see it. You should implement micro management(sending a certain amount over the trenches).It would also be cool to see trench raiders (fast moving armoured melee specialists) as well as tank hunters (high dmg, low range, low rate of fire)v

Hey Baron, im loving all the progress youve been making with Stick man trench wars, I was wondering whether you ever considered (for the future) to make Stick man Trench wars an online multiplayer game, I would love to play 1v1 matches against my friends, or they could be a tournament style mode where you would play against other players and if you win the tournament you could earn a medal of honour or an iron cross medal depending on what faction you played that tournament as almost like in Stick war legacy. Thanks for making this epic game and keep up the good work.

Would be nice to be able to choose which type of unit you send out of the trench. For example if you have a trench full of riflemen and shotgunners and you can send out the shotgunners but leave the riflemen in the trench.

My idea: FACTIONS* can u add different factions in the game like the French" with light blue helmet like in the battle of Verdun* french soldier with light blue helmets, Russian* grass green helmet colour, idk if this is gonna be added but hey it is what it is, I'll come up with more ideas 🔜 soon Edit: and US with light green helmets, and Ottoman with a hat cap thingy and it's white and red...

A great idea for solving your over supply of medals is to make them more mandatory for doing things. Upgrading trenches could cost a medal in addition to stars. This can make sense because getting medals require experience on the battle field. With this battle field experience, soldiers may learn to better defend themselves, thus needing medals to upgrade trenches because they would need the experience to learn how.

I would love to see an upgrade system for the units themselves, like upgrading the Infantry from K-98 to m1 Garand, where the Garand rifle fires 8 shots quickly, but takes 5 seconds to reload.

Alright, I think unit veterancy would be a great idea based on the amount of shots fired by a unit. So for example. After a sniper fires 10 shots he becomes a private. After 20 a Sergent, after 30 a general and after 40 a veteran. Each stage could increase the chance of a shot hitting. Giving a sniper a 100% hit rate at veteran level. Also please add the feature that units can be moved back into a previous trench.

Another Suggestion, have a gamemode where you can customize all the different game mechanics in a level. So you can choose how many troop types you want, if you only want riflemen, only snipers, only shotguns, and what the AI can have as well. And what types of abilities you can have, if you don't want artillery or tanks, you can take those out as well.

I have an idea for your sniper problem, what you can add is a kneeling mechanic where snipers cant shoot troops who are kneeling but kneeling troops cannot shoot over the trench walls until the enemy is right on top of them. This would also be a good way to implement melee combat.

Espionage has always stuck with me for war type games. Maybe spies could be planted in the opposition giving false orders or maybe it could hide types of troops from the opposition. It'd be nice to see spies introduced into the game which may open up a lot of possibilities.

Hello my english is not the best. More Campaigns France, Russia, Ottomans, and Austria Hungary, Poison gas used in WW1, Another upgrade for trench like machinegun upgrade then one of your units when they are in the trench can use it ,add unit variant with gasmask like machineguners with gasmask ,mortal squad, airplane support, all countries have special ability like France for example defanse in trenches +30% for 10s ,Anti-Tank units, Like mine plant ability that send soldiers to plant mines.And while killing enemy you get xp.After having some number of xp,you get xp point and you can get upgrades like 1 point units are cheaper.Maybe a mobile support (I mean to play on phone). I got 47s record

I think a good idea would be that each trench you capture you get an extra amount of stars per second as well as the German and British side should have different traits to make them both unique and different to play as.

I would love to see the idea in endless you try to move up Trenches. A the more you trencher's you capture the more points you get for your total score. I would also like to see smoke grenades in the game.

There should be a map that has curved trenches which lower the effectiveness of artillery because realistically trenches were never actually straight lines or just have different maps with different design patterns and stuff with different effects

Some things I think would be good to look at from the refrenced game include the classes, how the trench system allows multiple trenches to have people in them, and have upgrades to artillery to make it better (e.g. more shells per barrage) the game I said does this in a skill tree system but you called do it in a medal sort of way.

I just played the demo and i somehow beat difficult in 4:55. Don't know if it's a fluke or not. I have one suggestion, why don't you add another unit that costs medals, like a flamethrower or something maybe even a flame tank that would be sick. Anyway great game Baron! Forgot to add, Why don't you add like engineers so they can build barbed wire and even machine guns. I don't know if you could add a resource to build these or just stars but that would be amazing. EDIT: it was a fluke lol

your first video of this game i already knew paths to effective strats but did not discover them its not a good idea to charge the enemy if you dont have 3 times their numbers if its only with riflemen and 8 riflemen charged a trench defended by 4 riflemen the defender side is guaranteed the first volley and the entire volley is basicly guaranteed but not fully to take out one enemy for each bullet and then the 8 attackers are reduced to 4 and the 4 defenders are in a trench and their victory is decisive in the battle with only one casualty if they are unlucky by getting a sniper the enemy isnt forced to attack immediately after first two shots are fired they can hold out but are slower supplied and if lucky the sniper will miss some shots and they got a short or medium time to prepare and do a counter offensive because the sniper's side is probably gonna save up for arty or something big when i got the demo i done 3 battles each on german side and quickly won moderate and easy difficulty but when it was hard i still gone the same strat i did with the other ones on easy i think i won under 34 secs on moderate i won under 54 secs on hard i didnt win but i managed to push them ot their last trench quickly each time i focused on shotgunners and riflemen and i got lucky on moderate difficulty mid battle i got two sniper summons that helped me out in the end on moderate but i think i would have still won without them but slower maybe 1 min and 20 secs but with those 2 sniper summons i won in under 54 secs on hard i just pushed to their last trench and then it started falling apart i didnt get lucky level ups i occasionally bought snipers and arty but i didnt win i did only 3 battles one for each difficulty i want to try the game out quickly because i downloaded the astick it to the stickman demo and total tank generals demo

I would like to see a map with barbed wire in between the trenches. It would slow troops down, but if they get caught in a fire-fight. the barbed wire would decrease the chance of them getting hit.

Having two bars to upgrade a trench would Be nice, one is the one we have and other one brings static Machine gunner and if u lose the trench he dies and enemy reposition Machine gun on other Side and use it by them selves. Same hapends when u concor enemy trench with Machine gun

On endless mode with the stickman war game there was daytime night time, adding in night time and being able to have infiltrator classes or melee classes try to disrupt trenches flares and barbed wire

i think you should add some way to generate stars quicker. I think there should be RPGs that do more damage to tanks and I think tanks should have more Health to normal bullets but I bless health to artillery and RPGs. I also think there should be grenadiers that do less image to tanks but have shorter range but do more damage to units. I also think that there should be static weapons and placeable sandbags that lower the chance of getting hit one way but they can be destroyed.

what if there was a decoy upgrade for trenches that gives you a decoy that's prioritized by snipers? am thinkin perhaps it could survive a hit or two before being destroyed but be relatively cheap

I want to see the ability to send a specific type of unit over the top… so you could send a load of rifleman to attack and leave your lmg’s back in case of a counter attack. Or maybe you have a couple snipers so you can send them over before the main assault to take out some men
