I use the much cheaper microsoft sidewinder force feedback 2 stick, is old but works better than any non force feedback modern joystick to fly helicopters. Being able to use the force trim properly and deactvate the centering spring force is a must have for any helicopter sim pilot.

Yeah ! I had that ! My dad bought it for me when I started out with Microsoft 2002 them 2004 Lock On Modern Air Combat (By Eagle Dynamics) Il-2 Sturmovik / Pacific Fighters then the 1946 edition. Have to start all Over Again !! But Now we got some Combat Heelo's Which Is Super Cool !! There was an ABACUS Add on for MSFS Called Whirlybirds.

Your videos are incredible. I know you fly in vr but you record in Flat screen. So what you do? You record from a replay of your fligh?

did you buy the stick from the dev? anything negative to report?

Nope, I did not buy it. However I can 100% vouch that I totally would have bought it had I known what I know now. Negatives - some very minor bugs that you might experience in the software for timing various FFB effects - I’m sure that will be patched up, and also that these effects are not always very well explained (or not explained at all even) so you have to mess about with the sliders and figure it out, or send an email to the dev and ask what something means. Those are the only real downsides. And another thing (which will be inherent to all FFB sticks) - if you’re flying a plane where the trim displaces as a result of trimming, then you can’t use any curves in the control settings in DCS as your stick neutral point will not always be in the centre. All it means is that in some scenarios flying some aircraft it could be a tad more twitchy just on centre than you would like. With FBW planes like M2000 or F-18, it’s not an issue - you can use curves, since the stick stays in the centre when you trim.
