can't wait for pyro, such as using the backburner instead of the phlog in certain situations, or such as, one of my favorite new things to do as pyro, invest in flare gun upgrades for wave 1 and 2, where you're weak and better suited to deal with targets (especially giants) at a long range that way and still have a very rapid and solid 90 dps per shot against giants.

I never knew about the upgrade glitch, and because of that I ended up testing with other weapons from other class. But few weapons that this upgrade glitch works it's also not worth doing it besides soda popper and force of nature. Like you need to waste 400 credits to make the Scottish resistance to have 40% fire rate bonus. 1 upgrade giving this weapon 10% fire rate, but since it has 25% already, it will cap to 35% but, the glitch upgrade can be done and making and other 200 credits gets the remaining 5% of fire rate bonus to reach 40%. (Edit) I found something that can make vaccinator medigun to have 100% uber build rate with only 300 credit usage. You need to make the glitch just like the scatter with soda popper, but with a normal medigun,upgrade the uber charge rage to 100%(3 upgrades), accept and then refund. After that, the vaccinator will have 75% INSTEAD of 67% when you go to the upgrade station after the refund, then if you upgrade it again on normal way, it will not stay 93% but 100% with a 300 credit usage. (I can't tell if this is pointless or not)

I hope everyone notice this [DPS Scout] is optional strategy, which is depends on your teammates' brain. Scout is support class in MVM(imo), collecting moneys, spread milk to help teammates(it heals them when they crush some robots), use Fan O' war to make every single damage into mini-crit (timer exists). And MAYBE help pyro to destroy the tank(I don't recommend this because as Scout, you gotta collect the money from robots behind the tank) *Thanks for DEWILL. Hey i have a question, is de beggarz good for mvm? I mean, if you can predict the enemies you can charge your beggz and then swipe tru every single one of the bots. Dragon's Fury Detonator and Power Jack amazing to use in mvm it makes pyro really decent you don't need gaspasser you could do really good damage with the dragon's Fury you need to get 1 Health on kill and put the rest in resistance The Detonator gives extra Mobility and makes it to where you can set the Target on fire so you with your primary you can get that extra firing speed really decent if you give it a try informatics just equip the melee that kills meds I forgot what it was called just buy one canteen or have a medic give you critz

Once in MvM, I played Scout and started off in a server where everybody expected Scout to be the one solely responsible for money collecting and got mad when I got shot to death trying to get said money because I had to 1v1 a Giant Heavy while everybody else was at spawn. According to them, I had no excuse because the map was empty. So that Giant Heavy was all in my head then? Of course I missed some money; *you idiots didn’t help me out!* This was on Wave 3 of Expert Coal Town, by the way. I left after I died again and realized I was on my own with the money collecting and was just gonna keep getting yelled at for not being a full support Scout. So I disconnected and joined a server (Expert Decoy) where people actually knew how to work together and support one another. Sure enough, we didn't miss a single buck and I hardly died. I know I'm a good Scout. I'm not the best but I get the job done. Maybe if I had a team that didn’t expect too much out of a fast yet squishy stick figure with a shotgun so early on, we wouldn’t have lost so much money. But nah, it’s all my fault. :/ The kicker? This wasn't even in Mann Up; it was Boot Camp.

the canteen usage eliance was kinda painful. that's a lot of money that could be used for more dmg or even resistances after you get the essential upgrades for a DPS scout (and still losing money anyways in wave only makes this even worse). I personally don't use them as it barely makes much of a difference unless it's last wave or have spare cash after getting all the good perma upgrades.

For quickly shutting down dangerous robots such as Giant Medics, using canteens is the best way for DPS Scout build. And cause I saved up some credits by not upgrading resistances or movement speed, it turned out helpful. Not many crit canteens were wasted, as you see.

@@DEWILL from what I saw, I achived a similar result without using canteens myself (and one popped anyways so it barely made any difference). also its a good idea to aggro the giant demos or soldiers but when teammates aren't present or they aren't in danger, circle strafing is better than fighting in the air doing half the dmg.

@@carolthepyro899 If that Pyro haven’t used Phlog against Giant Medics, I could’ve dropped them. And at the 4th wave Giant Demos, there are mangler Soldiers and Demoknights coming at the same time. It’s a huge hassle if you surrounded by both side, staying on the ground is death sentence in that case. So it become my habit to stay in the air on the 4th wave. As long as it does the job properly without any hassle, debating about things like this seems kinda irrelevant.

​@@DEWILL I agree with ​ @Carol The Pyro on the canteens. You stood a decent chance of getting both Medics without Crits, and the Pyro phlogging them was not an unforeseen occurrence. Buying 2 canteens was a very expensive way to only modestly increase your odds of a clean drop. The Scout is already pretty good at killing Giant Medics, and I never feel the need to get canteens as The Scout. My default mindset is just always that I'm in an Expert mission with limited money. Your Soda Popper jumping skills are pretty slick, though, and something I wish I had in my toolbelt. Maybe I should practice.

@@UnderscoreGamingChannel I knew that Pyro was coming for that, so I used my canteen to kill those medics as fast as possible to minimize the chance of the pop. In the end, it failed, though. And of course, I don't usually buy crit canteens as a Scout. But in this case, the team definitely needed damage support, so I decided to buy those. I was pretty confident about that. I think it's just a playstyle difference. I don't think it's 'that' big of the deal. Btw, thank you for appreciating my Soda Popper thing! P.S: Circlestab videos were cool, learned some out of that

Barely watched it and I already disagree with you man. Pyro and Demoknight aren't problematic to take wave 1. Hell, not even Spy is bad to take wave 1. It's more of a legend that has been spread around because you can now press refund to win at any time. It's even less of a problem in Two Cities due to the large amount of money you start with. Will other classes/sub-classes perform better? Of course, but if we only picked the best of the best every time, we wouldn't have the Two Cities meta we have today.
