Commentating on - Outdoor Boys 4 Days Alone in Alaska

Yes, I agree, Luke is a great story teller! And he eats a lot but he cooks food I have never cooked but would love to try and he shows how to cook most everything! So it’s a camping, surviving, cooking, fishing, building, fire making, making tools and cooking utensils. Did I miss anything? Oh yes, I loved the video when the whole family went to Japan! I loved every minute of it!

You missed Adventure in your list and I imagine a few more as well. I haven't seen his family trip to Japan. I've actually only seen about 4 of his videos but have enjoyed all of them. He does the adventures that other people wish they could do.

I think what I like about him is rather than going for dramatics ("I might die!") or making himself seem like a complete expert, he just represents himself as a guy who loves this stuff and has a good time doing it. You see his mistakes right along when things go right.

Yep 100% agree with you. He comes across as a real and genuine person who you feel is exactly the same off camera as he is on camera and he just loves having adventures and showing the realities good and not so good. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment 👍🏼

To be honest I have only watched maybe 5 videos from the Outdoor Boys at this time. I just don't have a lot of free time to watch videos, but yes I've enjoyed the videos I have seen and I like the way they are filmed and edited and also the adventures. How about you, have you watched many of their videos and what other outdoor channels do you regualarly watch?

Cheers. I just call it how I see it and point out the things I personally like, what I feel could be done better, and what I don't like. For reviewing the Outdoor Boys videos everything I have seen has been all good and I explain what it is I like about the video.

OMG you seem concerned about Luke's eating🤔 After kayaking 5+ hrs, ya burn a lot of calories😆 He's still skinny as a bean pole🤣 I'm new to your channel, and have only watched one other of your vids. I'm pressed for time, so maybe you can catch me up. Are you from Australia? Luke lives in Virginia and Alaska. His Alaska adventures are far superior (I may be biased since I am full-on Alaskan🤭) You may want to check with him before you ride too far on his coattails, and ask permission to play his vids... just sayin'

I'm not concerned about Luke eating a lot and I was just joking about it and in the edit he finished eating and then like a minute later there was another eating clip and another. His food always looks so good and always makes me feel hungry watching. Yes I'm from Australia, based in Australia. I've been to Canada a number of times and lived and worked in the Rockys for a year. I haven't seen any way of contacting Luke and he seems to have the comments turned off on all his videos. But I am not required to contact any creator I am making a commentary video on. It falls under KZbins fair use policy and I always link to the original video in my video descriptions for people to watch the full video by the creator. I'm sorry that you feel I am trying to ride on anyones coattails which I can assure I most definitly am not. I comment on videos by both large and small youtube channels and I am just looking to comment on these videos and share my own personal experiences and thoughts in the process.

Hahaha. Firstly if you actually watched and understood in the video you would realize I have all good things to say about Luke and the Outdoor Boys videos. Secondly, even the thumbnail photo has "Nice" in the photo. And thirdly, if I want to commentate on a video by any content creator and I am doing it in an honest an non nasty way and giving my personal feelings about the video I see nothing wrong with it and I'm sure if Luke from Outdoor Boys watched this video he would be happy with what I had to say.

@@maybeebuzzy2265 Firstly I don't think or find commentate is a very awkward word at all. It is to give commentary in an interpretive manner (sharing my personal thoughts). Prehaps the snow bath reference and the chill dude line is from an Outdoor Boys video I haven't seen but I would like to think that if Luke watched this video I did he would not be offended and he might even appreciate the praise I gave him through the video for being a really good story teller and explaining how he structures the stories within each video he makes. So yeah I am not concerned that Luke would want to give me a snow bath.
