I'm 32 and have virtually always done this, back in the day as a wee lad I had 2 TVs in my room, one for games and one for cable. As an adult I often play a game while watching a livestream or streaming service, sometimes I'll also put on music. Long story short, I have ADHD and am unmedicated, so the extra stimulation helps me. I've begun to wonder if ADHD tendencies aren't just the new normal in the younger generation.
