in psych we had to do a project on this. we had to find or take pictures or very short videos. show it once for a few seconds. then have a conversation with the class (adding on key strong words) and then ask them to describe what they just saw. i cant remember anything specific about my project. but the classic example is show a group a picture of a pretty minor car wreck then in the conversation say words like smashing or pieces. then when you ask the group to describe what they saw. they'll say things like there was broken windows/glass everywhere, broken doors, air bags deployed, and everyone agrees with each other. then you show them the same picture and nope no broken windows, no air bags, etc. and the group will be like no! no way it was like that! ....memory conformity. so i guess if something happened over 20 years and people were like no way it wasnt like that!! its long term memory conformity?

I remember in the last upload or two where we had our first Shakira cameo in quite some time and I could feel Eric's rythym getting to that place where we just default to leaving the comment that was intended for a page with comments blocked on the Shakira vid and it made me laugh so hard and also super nostalgic. In short, long live Shakira. Best long running gag in ICE despite the confounding past Eric's predict celebrity deaths thing.

I know that the reason I think It's "Barensteen" bears is because that's they way they pronounced it in the cartoon intro where they sing "We are the Barensteen bears!" to the tune of Stars and Stripes forever - And I didn't know how to read cursive when I was 2. Except the thing is... they don't actually sing that lyric in the stars and stripes forever version of the theme song in the cartoon. Maybe it was in the books on tape. I'm 33, so I don't have access to obsolete tech hiding in the archives of an elementary school library to check. I know that the reason I think the line is "Luke I am your father" is because Chris Farley says that into a desk fan to sound like Darth Vader in the movie Tommy Boy, and a lot of little kids taught this trick to each other without having any idea where it came from. I'm so confident that "Luke I am your father" is a reference to Tommy Boy, that I'm not going to double check. But I have no idea why I am 100% positive that the Fruit of the Loom logo had a cornucopia, circa 2001. If the cornucopia wasn't in that logo, then what logo was it in? What's strange is that when scrolling down a google images search for the fruit of the loom logo, I will see the cornucopia out of the corner of my eye, only to look directly at it and see the image change in real time, before my eyes. Like somebody made a before-and-after gif, but it's not a gif. IT'S A JPEG
