I have fished throughout NSW and much of Australia and have spent twenty plus years documenting my travels through urban Sydney chasing Australian Bass and Bream.

I've loved the Hawkesbury and Broken Bay for more than five decades, but I've always been concerned about the professional fishery industry in the river. However, watching this I have so much respect for these guys and in awe just how professional they are. I suppose the bad reports come from those that have been unethical in the past like harvesting every single FEMALE blue swimmers in the river!

Nuh mate never happened, natural lore has it that we take what we catch in the numbers they come. Shiela crabs with eggs in one exception. I have crabbed the last 65 years and I should know. All Govts should remove themselves from mens lives.
