Reading thru the comments i notice everyone keeps forgetting a big part of this trade. The customer ls wallet dictates how far they’re willing to go. Slam the Pipe Doc all you want for the gas n go, but maybe they dont wanna spend the thousands of dollars to replace the coil!

Top of the coil is naturally going to be hotter it’s getting sub cooled as it hits the bottom of the coil. That’s normal to feel that temp change about 3/4 of the way down.

Mikey on a micro channel coil fuck that I will never do that shit again finding a leak way to much time. Gas and Go, let the customer know they have a leak , see how long the recharge last maybe next time shoot some stop leak in it .... but id change the coil out not a fan of stop leak ....
