I tried to find the leak on my flat metal roof. I have inspected it many times after had put black tar on the seams. I can not find the leak. Its still leaking through inside. I tried calling for roofing people to come and diagnose and fix it but they havent called me back. Where do u think in ur opinion, how its still leaking?? I think I might use what u used in this video.

Would you use this silicone coating on a camper trailer with a metal roof? or which product would you use? My trailer is from the 1950s, with many old roof repairs using Henrys black roofing patch (tar?) on the seams, and paint over the patches. Do I need to completely strip off all the old products? (My roof is only about 8'x8'). I think I watched too many of your videos and now I am not sure which way to go! Is Turbo Poly seal for seams, and Silicone seal used as a coating? The fleece looks great and I noticed you used it for seams and leveling the coating. Thanks.

Always best to remove everything to the metal. Then you can use the Super Silicone Seal to cover the entire roof and use the fleece over the seams. This way you will never ever have to do anything again.

I strive to make my work right the first time, and I've had no call backs yet, I always give a 10 year warranty on workmanship. People call me crazy, they do half that but I want to guarantee the customers is best with me. My only problem is how much I charge for money. It's not much. Since I've been roofing 16 years. And all projects stand the test of time. I'm sure I will have many call backs for future projects, and they will need me. While others are playing on their, xbox and playstations. Thank you again for your videos, Helps so much to inspire to keep it up. How old are you? My guess is 19+ tax

I don't know if you have used one or not, but the best tool I have found to clean up old joints and remove tar and other sealants (like that shown on the AC unit or on a metal roof) is a vibrating tool with a scraper blade with a smooth edge. It'll cut right through sealants and also easily scrape them off the surface. Get several blades. They wear out quickly.

yes, thats a good tool. I prefer a corded angle grinder with a heave steel brush. That goes faster
