im pretty sure youre not supposed to run the rolls opposit like that its called cross bonding they start pulling against each other, you should run the sheetrs the same way and just do it hald of the other sheet! also the metal capping should of just torched abit of felt on there

There are a number of problems with this installation. It seems I need to make a roofing video on how to properly torch down modified bitumen. First sign that there's something not kosher is the missing gloves. You need to have a decent pair of leather gloves in order to torch your cap sheet and make it watertight as well. Right now I am recouperating from total knee replacement but as soon I can I will make a video so DIY people have a chance to learn proper way doing it because so different 'interpretations' can confuse anybody.

Never hire a guy who uses family members or un-skilled laborers to do the work. I learned my lesson. I once hired a contractor to remodel my bathroom. One day I came home to see the guy's mom in her night gown up the step ladder taping the drywall. She looked like in her late 50s. Another day his teenage baby sister was doing the work. I ended up throwing the guy out of my house. How do you like to have this guy who never held a torch to do your roof?

Или всё-таки делал в температуре на плавление? А не палки - ковырялки. И толку от твоего наплавления на песок? Текущий ремонт одним слоем, бюджетным материалом, 1-2 года простоит. В школе не учили, что мало знать закон физики, надо их уметь применять. У тебя, наверное, и линокром в один слой 15 лет держит : )=

@@ford107 15 лет только у маркетологов держит: ). Я не исключаю, что это может работать при совокупности нескольких систем. Мне попадалась крыша, которая с девяносто второго года, закатанная еще рубероидом, ни разу не текла(на части подъездов). Нормальная статистика для России как была, так и останется: 60-70% крыша после капремонта не требует ремонта 3-6 лет, 6-10 лет стоит всего 10%. Остальное- это разнорабочие вместо кровельщиков, неправильный выбор материалов, плохая подготовка, "итальянцы" итд итп. И да, при хорошем уклоне даже бюджетный материал "приклеенные только по швам, при отсутствии застойных зон и возможности собираться конденсату под кровельным пирогом" очень хорошо справляется с гидроизоляцией кровли. При наличии сланца на верхнем слое это всегда будет разделительной средой, которая лишает всякого смысла выполнять направление с битумным валиком. А попытка достаточно разогреть посыпку до полного сплавления при отсутствии должного опыта приведёт к преждевременной деградации наплавляемого материал.К тому же это требует немеренных затрат сил, внимание на выполнение этой работы. Если мы про цена качестве. Простое прилипание даёт тот же эффект. Возможно это увеличит срок эксплуатации при выполнении частичного ремонта, в случаях отсутствия возможности провести работу от водораздела до водораздела. Но солнце выжигает его раньше, чем рассказывают маркетологи. К тому же если вы не знал, то эти 15 лет это теоретические данные взятые для материалов при хранении, а не введённых в эксплуатацию после того как с ними работали люди. где-то перегрев, где-то не нагрели, где-то дождь, где-то усадка здания, где-то усталость и тд. итп. Правда они не любят об этом говорить. 15 лет это сказки для широкой аудитории. Ничто меня не убедит в обратном. Первую кровлю сдал в 2008 году. С того времени эта профессия меня кормит.Для конкретной этой крыши я проблем не вижу. Швы проклеены, кое-где прилипнет, то есть ветера нагрузку держать будет. Для текущих ремонтов сойдёт. Какой смысл табуретки переделывать пятую ножку. Да если бы это был капремонт, за такую работу можно и пи... получить : ) но это не он. Думаю, очевидно для всех, что когезия предпочтительнее адгезии для гидроизоляции. Но есть целый ряд условия, в которых это не нужно. и качество выполненных работ не зависит от того, катаете с листа или стоя перед ним. Если знаете, что делаете, а не просто воспроизводите непонятную инструкцию производителя материал или, не дай Бог, "инстаграмамных чекуш". Которая зачастую заимствованны и плохо переведена : ). Рад, что у Вас срок эксплуатации кровли гаража соответствует ожиданиям. Хорошая работа. Но по мне, так всё немножко сложнее, чем кажется на первый взгляд. Линокром в один слой 15 лет не держит, умру но не поверю : ) Я в средней полосе работаю у нас СБС.
