This series has been on my to-watch list since My Secret Love because of how much I loved Daniel and his character in it (best couple in that series imho). Finally got around to watching this series because of Michael being in PitBabe. My goodness, they are both such fabulous actors. I hope for more opportunities for both of them. I think this was Benz best performance in a series too. (Benz was in Coffee Melody with Pavel, who we well know was in PitBabe with Michael.) Call It What You Want and Lovely Writer are both must sees for BL fans. Thank you to the producers, director and actors for telling these stories. Behind the performance, we are all just humans wanting to be loved.

A very good production that put me in mind of On Cloud 9 and Till The World Ends. There's something very special about Commetive films, the cinematography is always good, the locations are well chosen, the storylines keep the viewer interested throughout, and the four leads were excellent, especially Bas who was good in Till The World Ends. He really conveyed the distress that Bas was in and had some excellent scenes with Marco. Thank you Commetive, I look forward to seeing more high quality movies series from you!

It was very hard watching this knowing what this story/show was based on. It breaks my heart into a thousand pieces for the individuals who have suffered because of someone so high up in the industry that they seemed untouchable. I'm so thankful this was made so it could tell their story and shed light onthe truth of what goes on behind the scenes. Those of you who know what I'm talking about, know. I do understand a few of the reservations that other people have expressed in the comments about some elements of the series, but when all is said and done, I am so glad we have it. There’s a deep humanity and compassion that runs through it from start to finish. Moreover, much of the time it is just a lovely thing to look at. So no matter what the rough spots may be, Call It What You Want will always be, for me, a little jewel. Honestly I expected more. Good actors, but I thought that, for the topics covered, it was more "raw". What somewhat perplexed me the most was Bas's instant "recovery" from depression, after Marco fell in love with him very quickly and Tee left the scene unpunished. Certainly there was no time available, but I think these situations had to be developed a little better.

I loved he series and found no faults. As to the audio at the end of Tee talking to Bas. Obviously, the press will wonder what it is and demand a viewing. And the words alone will cause quite a stir. I felt that was enough of a tease for the press. As to the hanging, Marco can hold Bas's weight, until the noose can be taken from his neck. Most hanging victims do not die from the drop, it is the asphyxiation. A person can take 3-5 minutes to actually die by hanging. The only way the noose can instantly kill a person is if the person is severely overweight, or the drop is a L-O-N-G drop. So it is conceivable Bas could be saved from his self hanging. As for Marco and Bas getting intimate during the night, after the hanging. As a man, I don't think men "need" sex to confirm love. It's just a part of love. If Marco and Bas had sex that night, it was a pent up emotion they both had and needed to express. And perhaps Bas was so happy to be himself and realize that Marco does love him. We all tend to over think these BL stories. I just try to enjoy them as an American gay man watching a Thai BL film. I'm 67 and we never had anything like this when I was growing up. I am so DEEPLY appreciative to Aam Anusorn and Commetive for producing this. I relate to a lot of these stories and characters. A huge thanks to Aam and all the actors, and crew who created this. I love you all.

There were at least 2 comments talking about the audio of the abuse that Bas endured. It was hard to see, but there was a flat screen TV on the right that was showing the video. You can just see it at 23:42. The problem is, that the actors in the audience barely looked in that direction. If it had been a room full of real people, they would have been glued to the screen in shock.

Ok this season was way much better to watch than the previous one...!!😄 I know the ending was made into a happy ending where as the in the actual world, it's anything but happy...🙃 Anyways..... Michael..!! You beauty...!! 😻 Last season, I could literally watch it because of him and this season he did not disappoint at all..!! Also I was already a fan of Daniel from his latest work but here in a completely different role he was really good..!! I really love the chemistry between Bas and Marco. But yeah even with the awesome chemistry they didn't have to put the Sex scene right after Marco's confession and Bas's suicide attempt... 😐 I know it's a short story but the time lapses could have made in the background to show at least some considerable amount of time has passed.. 😐 I also felt the issues which they wanted to point out, could have done in a better way. Felt like some of the biggest issue like power abuse, sexual harassment, mental health issues etc was sidelined at the end with "All has the right to love whoever they want"..😐 I know that is also an issue in the industry but please don't tell me it's as big as the ones I mentioned before to have a glorified speech? 😒 And Bas's issues were just left almost unspoken and ended with a kiss.. 😣 Loved the kiss but that kinda took away the impact of issues happening at the moment.. 😔 And yeah I couldn't care less about Ait and James this season also..😒 Boy oh boy the way Ait acted was just irritating and frustrating...😐 Really no offense to Benz because if he tried to make the character as an irritating character, he was perfect..!! Overall this season was way better from my point of view as I liked and kinda watched solely for Bas with a sprinkle of Marco. But could have been better.. Let's see what 2022 version has installed for me...

Here's what I think of the entire series (season 1 and 2). I was expecting to see something darker considering the subject covered, but in fact it was not the case. We see quite dramatic scenes, but in itself I find that the subject was approached with too much lightness. Although I conceive that the series is too short to properly develop the story, I think that some mistakes were made. ➡ The most illogical scenes: - Ait getting angry with Bas because the latter broadcast the video of the kiss on social networks! Okay that wasn't right but his friend saw something much more serious, and honestly the "problem" of the video isn't really a priority. - Bas had the most miraculous recovery a depressed person who attempted suicide has ever had!! Just because Marco told her he loves her he immediately feels much better, and they have sex soon after....that scene doesn't make sense! he has just tried to commit suicide because he was sexually abused, but in a short time he regains his senses and is also able to have sex. And Marco who confesses to Bas that he loves her when shortly before he was still talking about his love for James, that's not very consistent either... ➡ The end of the story is disconcerting for the following reasons: The villain of the story, Tee, simply disappears. After Bas, Marco and Kaprao decide to expose Tee at the press conference, Tee gets up and walks out of the room unmolested, then we see James directing the show with Bas Ait and even Kaprao...but not scene that maybe would show Tee in jail or something. Director Anusorn's idea was to expose some of the ugly truths behind Thai BLs and we've got Bas suffering from Tee's harassment since season 1, so we expect at least some punishment for Tee, but nothing is shown on this. ➡ There are still many positive points, including for example these: - The couples are cute, although James' hair annoys me because it looks messy. - The kisses: I like when the actors assume their role in the BL and really kiss each other 👍. Because even if it's cute, kisses on the forehead or kisses with lips that barely touch each other, when you only see that in a series it becomes annoying. Voici ce que je pense de la série entière (saison 1 et 2). Je m'attendais à voir quelque chose de plus sombre compte tenu du sujet abordé, mais en fait ce ne fut pas le cas. On voit des scènes assez dramatiques, mais en soit je trouve que le sujet a été abordé avec trop de légèreté. Même si je conçois que la série est trop courte pour développer correctement l'histoire, je pense que certaines erreurs ont été commises. ➡ Les scènes les plus illogiques: - Ait se fâchant contre Bas car ce dernier a diffusé la vidéo du baiser sur les réseaux sociaux! D'accord se n'était pas correct mais son ami vit quelque chose de dramatique, bien plus grave, et honnêtement le "problème" de la vidéo n'est pas vraiment une priorité. - Bas a eu le rétablissement le plus miraculeux qu'une personne en dépression qui a tenté de se suicider n'ait jamais eu!! Juste parce que Marco lui a dit qu'il l'aimait il va de suite beaucoup mieux, et ils font l'amour peu de temps après....cela n'a aucun sens cette scène! il vient de tenter de se suicider car il a été abusé sexuellement, mais en peu de temps il recouvre ses esprits et est en plus capable d'avoir des relations sexuelles. Et Marco qui avoue à Bas qu'il l'aime alors que peu de temps avant il évoquait encore son amour pour James, ça non plus ce n'est pas très cohérent... ➡ La fin de l'histoire est déconcertante pour les raisons suivantes: Le méchant de l'histoire, Tee, disparaît tout simplement. Après que Bas, Marco et Kaprao aient décidé d'exposer Tee lors de la conférence de presse, Tee se lève et sort de la pièce sans être inquiété, puis nous voyons James diriger la série avec Bas Ait et même Kaprao ...mais pas de scène qui peut-être montrerait Tee en prison ou quelque chose comme ça. L'idée du réalisateur Anusorn était d'exposer certaines des vilaines vérités derrière les BL thaïlandais et on a Bas souffrant du harcèlement de Tee depuis la saison 1, alors on s'attend au moins à une punition pour Tee, mais rien n'est montré à ce sujet . ➡ Il y a tout de même beaucoup de points positifs, dont par exemple ceux ci: - Les couples sont mignons, bien que la chevelure de James m'agace car elle fait négligée. - Les baisers: j'aime lorsque les acteurs assument leur rôle dans les BL et s'embrassent vraiment 👍. Car même si c'est mignon, les bisous sur le front ou les baisers avec les lèvres qui se touchent à peine, lorsque l'on ne voit que ça dans une série cela devient agaçant.

If it was this simple as coming out as James and Ait in real life. The cancel culture that would follow accompanied with threats, including de.ath threats, the loss of privacy, the booing and sometimes si.lly questions asked by some MCs. And if you get to come out and you just face some of these, and the dust settles, with people moving on from you, that's good. My take, as far as media is concerned, you need to keep 60% to yourself and 40% to the public for your peace of mind.
