Wow.... didn't know about this, something new every time you show up :D im so happy I found your channel when I began with Logic! I thought I needed to get third party plugins every one uses but I haven't downloaded a single plugin in a year because you teach me to take advantage of every single litle part of Logic. Super thanks for everything Chris! And this series is awesome.

Hey Chris, can't believe you decided to show us how to do this? I was literally thinking if this could be possible to do and 'boom' along you come and it's all there. Such a great series so far and have saved every single one of them for future reference.......brilliant

I've used Logic since it was Emagic's Notator Logic. Like many things, I know what I know, to do what I do. I really like your videos. I've learned a lot from them. Thanks!

Great tip! How can the selection based processing be undone at a later date? I guess that's why you would create another take.

Thank you very much for this tip, I didn't know such thing existed (maybe, I've never needed it before?). Now I'm sure I'll think about this tool in my creative process.

Dear sir I can't see selection based processing in logic pro

Super helpful! Thanks a lot. Question: if you use this kind of processing and keep the region in the same channel strip, won't the processed region also be affected by the plugins that you already have on the channel strip for the rest of the track? That is, how do you ensure that the region is only affected by the effects that you selected in the selection-based processing section and *not* by the effects on the channel plugin? Thanks again!
@Above-Ground4 жыл бұрын
Put that newly processed region on a new track.
@brandyman54 жыл бұрын
@@Above-Ground Ok cool. Got it! I guess the benefit then is not that you don't need a new track for the effect but that you don't need to put lots of plugins on that track since the effects are burned int other region. Thanks!

How this is wonderfull. I have tears on eyes🥹 If they remake a work with grid (need more speed with hotkeys, like in ableton) - it will be DaVinci resolve fro DAW world☺️

Can you please advise what standard Logic track plugins and settings to use to get a Brian Seltzer rockabilly sound for vocals? Many thanks.
@trevorhook94954 жыл бұрын
I advise you not to sing rockabilly
@jampigs4 жыл бұрын
Try a bit of slap back delay (delay designer), and a bit of distortion . You could even try a bit of spring reverb from amp designer? Just an idea! Obviously some compression and eq and a suitable plate reverb or something

TURN OFF the "Show Automation" button if you want this to work. I went crazy trying this because it didn't work until I turned it off. Thanks for the video BTW. Need all the Logic Pro help I can get.

Hi, is there also something like selection based automation? I’m looking for a way to make a Snapshot from all active automation tracks in three selected areas and everything before and after the selection doesn’t change.

I see all the processing ending in mono files, I guess it is possible to maintain stereo?...
@shuffle5974 жыл бұрын
yup you've just got to select the stereo version of any plugins you use!
