Thanks man… i had same issue as 1st it was a fan problem.. A/C starting after i turned on fan through manual switch..and it works perfectly…

Thanks for info. I have a 2017 Freightliner. A/c blows cold when driving but warm when sitting still, until the engine temp get to about 220 and clutch fan engages , moves air across condenser and cools engine back down . Told by freightliner that’s normal kick in temp.? I thought it would be lower or on constant when running a/c.? Any ideas?

Have a question 2014 Freightliner Cascadia with a dd15 AC blow cold I can have it turned up on 8 it'll be blowing hard and then all of a sudden it'll stop blowing hard and blow like I got it turned down on one I can cut it off for a few minutes or so turn it back on and all of a sudden is blowing back hard

In the situation of cool when driving but heating up when stopped, was it getting hot in the sleeper?

2012 freightliner cascadia, blowing warm ,then blows warm and I notice my temperature reading but 200, fan kick on and will drop back down,what you think the problem is?

hi today im working on a dd15 we change the water pump, the thermostat and last the temperature sensor and on my scanner still reading 266 and also on the cluster gage but the engine dont feel that hot on water pipes or hoses.

Having ac issues truck is not blowing enough air when idle but it blows a little more when rolling, also temp has been getting more and more out of the 200 zone when climbing hills so maybe my tan clutch or solenoid?

Sounds like the fan in front of the engine is not working right. If you don't hear the fan come on when the a/c is running, you would need to get it checked out. most likely problems low of freon the fan solenoid is bad. the fan clutch has failed.

I keep my truck runs all day and night up north. One day I started to notice the water temperature gauge dropping from 195 degrees to 140 when I stopped for the night, went to shop to get it checked because coolant, hoes and pips were cold. Thermostat got replaced but the problem still happening. Please help. Freightliner cascadia 22 Truck won't warm up if it does only up to 120-140max

I hav a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia My engine fan comes on with the engine temp but will not come for the ac to work properly at idle I've replaced high and low pressure switches with on results I've had shop check freon still no results. Do you have any suggestions that i can try? Please help Thanks: Willie
