Common BMW M3 Problems are not fun! Climate Control Module

In todays video I work on troubleshooting my climate control module in my 1998 BMW m3 e36. Luckily I live close to my job, so I only have to suffer with no AC for short periods of time.
I finally decided to do some troubleshooting today, since the AC goes in and out on me, more out than in as of recent.
Let me know if you guys know the issues or not, I THINK it is the module itself and nothing else.

This is a known issue with a filter capacitor on the circuit board inside the climate control module. You have to take it apart and resolder a new 0.47uF capacitor. There are some guides online out there including a detailed video on KZbin. The tell-tale sign that it is the capacitor that has gone bad is when the unit seems to have a mind of its own. On and off randomly. Dim and then full bright screen, back to dim, then maybe off. Had this problem for a few weeks and just did the repair today and all is working great. Hope this helps someone like me!

Milik saya juga bermasalah, terpaksa saya belikan bekas, dan akhirnya ac berfungsi normal. tapi ada yang berbeda, kalau yang baru saya beli tidak bisa menampilkan fungsi tersembunyi.

ive been considering just doing that.. i havent been driving the car as much so it doesnt bother me that much.. plus its in and out at this point, so sometimes it works fine 😂

Curious as well if this was ever solved... All fuses and wires are good, replaced module and still nothing... Same symptoms as you are having
