Would this be the same for E90s? I'd assume so as tonight my lining didn't want to slide easily back when closing it. F**k humidity in the Washington, DC Area.

Glad I ran into your video I have the option to buy a z71 or zr2 and strictly on aesthetics and like you said about having the top of the line I want the zr2 but if I’m honest the z71 is what I should go for but I’m so torn this video helps

another interesting fact, Borg Warner and holset are notorious for maintaining the turbo diesel exhaust wheel tech,from first hand experience they are horrible for bringing boost on early and making good power compared to new turbo tech

I moved from that house and didn’t take the flooring with me.. but from dealing with them I’d still say they are good to go, as long as you make sure to just keep some things in mind when working on a car.. hot things will burn thru(welding/using a grinder), and putting a base under your jack stands so the feet don’t break thru

Too bad they don't make them in the white color to match their tool chests. The newage pro's in white do look somewhat similar and that's probably going to be my deciding factor as silly as that sounds

There is a super sale on husky right now. I jusy purchased the 16 piece set for 1999. They are regular duty so its 24 guage, a tad bit more flimsy. I have two husky tables as well.

The wheel offset looks waaay out of spec. .. I'm old sckol, w/'94 C124 3.2 Sportline suspension coupe. .. When ditching the OEM 15"x7" ET41 alloys... the alloys from a donor 1999 W210 sedan fit nicely, keeping with the OEM 8 hole aesthetic. .. 16"x7.5 ET41 ... This keep the C124 chassis suspension geometry status quo. .. The 16" alloys w/ Michelin's look the part, plus the Sportline options ever-so-lower stance. .. Great project .. keep at it.

@chrisdz
@chrisdz 2 ай бұрын
i didnt have any issues with buckling, but i was also not making tight turns in the garage, kinda just straight in, and straight out with small corrections to get me where i wanted to park. for variances, no. i had 1 or 2 spots with like a chunk missing out of the concrete in the floor but nothing major, so i cant comment on that

Hey, looking at lowering my 190Dt. How much stiffer is the ride? I am hoping to get about an inch of drop so this might make sense for me. Are these the 1.3/1.25 inch drop springs or the 1" drop springs? I know they have two different flavors.

Chris, hopefully you see this comment. I recommended this video in a zr2 Facebook group for someone having problems with their CVs. Someone (who works for peak) said CWF send you these arms and this video is basically a paid advertisement for them? Hoping this isn’t true, thanks
@chrisdz
@chrisdz 2 ай бұрын
I got these arms at a slight discount, but I DID pay for them. If this FB post is from a while ago, I remember seeing it, and the person that was upset was the owner of Peak suspension, I’m not completely sure why tbh, I didn’t say anything bad about the Peak arms, only that these CWF ones fixed my issue. I tried to give an objective video for everyone to make their own decision.
