Nice tip I put a small piece of rope on the platform and I put it over the cables and pull them down and tie it so they aren't sticking up over your head

love my Ol man, its an older one with fixed curved bar,,, they are the quietest stand going up and down a tree,, been looking to find a carbon aire elite i sold mine now regret it...steel may be heavier but sure is quieter than my Summit,,, Thinking of going to climbing sticks Hawk heliums with Lone wolf stand not climber ... any thoughts on climbing sticks... BTW i didnt see a Baker climber review, talk about no room and dangerous ...

I have the x-stand. Normally I hunt from a saddle, but when the situation calls for a tree stand this is my choice. My reasons are because this thing is light and really affordable. At 11lbs, it's actually lighter than my saddle setup.

I was a big summit fan until I got my ol man cts grand. By far the most comfortable stand to me

Not undermining your set up but I’m 6’2” and I’m super quiet with my summit. Just place the foot portion inside the seat potion. The tree v bar should nestled into the flat support v bar pull back cushion up wrap tree strap around stand use cinch strap around frame quiet and secure.
