@@ellenfrostflowers I’ve started using the pin frog. I like working with it. Just have to watch out for the pins😊. I want to move away from using the floral foam for the same reasons as you mentioned. Please consider me as one of your floral nerds!

Hi, Ellen. I like the plumber's putty as an option but wonder how difficult it is to remove from the vase once the arrangement is done. Thks!

The plumbers putty comes off with some prying (i use a screwdriver) and some olive oil. I usually just leave the frogs in the vase - since I'll probably need it again. But if you need it to get it out, you can.

For arrangements purchased at your shop - do you mostly use the tape? Or for opaque vases chicken wire?

Great question! For single orders, we try to be strategic in choosing vases that don't need mechanics in order to speed up the design process. If we need a mechanic, it's usually chicken wire for everyday opaque vases.

How do you get your frogs back after customers purchase flowers

Great Question! If I use a frog for a single order or birthday, I work it into the price and the customer keeps it. I dont use frogs often for single orders because it really jacks up the price and most people are not willing to pay that much. If it's for a wedding or event. We give customers 7 days to return all rentals. We take a rental deposit so if they don't return the rentals, we charge their credit card for whatever they didn't return.
