Hi Danny ... just found your channel... I just purchased a 2006 S2000 with 40k miles and I'm the 2nd owner ... I'm pushing 70 years old and was happy to Have a wonderful car ... I've been a Honda fanatic since 1967 ... My first Honda car was the AN600 Sedan... so much fun! Also have owned many Honda motorcycles... anyway I find the S pulls right under acceleration and has a clicking noise on some bumps in the rear right side (metal hitting metal) exhaust pipe? ... I've went through all the suggestions on TP ... etc ... the fact the rear axle nut need 230ft lbs of torque is beyond my tool capacity ... My stepson is a Mercedes mechanic and I'm going for an alignment next week ... so what is your experience with the noise and the pulling right ... hope this issue is fixable... Thanks for your time.

Honda lover since 1999 here ^^ (I also have owned multiple "kinds" of Hondas hahaha) My first thought was the alignment... as the suspension on the S2000 is amazingly, completely adjustable. How did it go ? How does it run ?

S2000 has one of the best gearboxes I driven! Also, the TCT is a common failure part. Just do yourself a favor and get a Ballade TCT = job done!

I hope you didn't get the hard top because, the S2K IS a convertible by essence. ;) Also, you can easily get some patch that you apply inside and you'd get a hard to see slit on your roof.

Sandzslik take it to a body shop and have them check for front end damage. I looked at 8 of them before I bought my 02 and 5 of them had front end damage. They never drive the same when the front has been tweaked. Three of them had no accident records and we're done half-assed. The worst one was yellow had no cotter pins in the lower ball joints and had a kink in the subframe.

Got my 10lb flywheel, drove thru LA traffic and it felt better and smoother without issue.

Also, like 2 of the lights on the left side of my gauge cluster went out, dimming the lower end of the RPM's, as well as nearby other stuff, also the fuel level lights dimmed too.

What about the electronic power steering issue? I have an ‘01 AP1 and sometimes my power steering just cuts off randomly. Pretty scary when your going into a turn with one hand and the shit just locks up on you. That’s why I call it the DEATH TRAP S2K. I’ve heard other people online had this issue but not how they fixed it. Most just totaled their cars I believe. I took it to Honda years ago & they quoted me $8,000 to change the power steering column! And they weren’t certain that would even fix the problem.

Most of this is not issues with S2000s but issues with the owners of s2000's. If owners used the car for what it was designed for they would have far less problems. If you want to go fast buy a fast car in the first place.
