the people in the comments are the idiots, it's a remotely operated trap meaning he is the one who triggers it, not the bird so the chances of the bird getting hypothermia are zero he simply could walk over and release it. most likely he's trapping the bird for falconry use, which means he will train it to hunt with him. Not only is this not hurting the bird if he decides to train it for falconry he is giving it a much better chance of survival given that 90% of raptors die in the first year living in the wild.
@Metrzan2 жыл бұрын
its not remotely triggered. there is a "perch" on the front of the bait compartment that is the trigger.

About one hundred birds were caught and no injury or kill of a lure mammal. When is windy, rainy or too cold wheather, I use a small glass cube instead of cage.

@moudrydauby13 жыл бұрын
@octobermonsters Average time of one catch is about five minutes. Then the Phodopus is usually removed from cage and hold inside car in special box with food, water and hide (wood shavings and so). The whole activity is for scientific purposes via banding trapped birds.

In Europe and Africa areas the migrating birds are threatened on their migration routes. The places and type of threats are different and they are always on the increase. Knowledges (by ringing after catching) about migration birds and about changes in birds populations help to a strategy of species protection.I thing legal and illegal hunting and a trade with animals for holding in captivity is more dangerous. Less plentiful species are more demanded for this activity and it is fatal for them.

If you wanna learn about local bird of prey population feed wild birds in ya garden every year, after 3 to 5 yrs you notice the area being stalked by all kinds of birds of prey, even the owls knew me in my area, very clever birds, followed me home one night.

I made a rodent trap cause of a mouse problem i had in my garden (due to feeding wild birds) i caught without harming more than 100 mice in less than24 hours, made video about it but then deleted the video cause i dint wanna teach people how to catch masses of rodents easily. I was getting thousands of hits per week then deleted the video

Stop tracking kestrels. Kestrels are great birds and too cute. Kestrels made a nest on my balcony and have 6 eggs, the babies will born 10 days later. They will fly to nature.
