Change out your coolant expansion hose by 45k miles to prevent it from breaking and shooting coolant all over your engine bay. Good preventative maintenance 👍🏼

Imo, n55 is wayyyy more reliable than n54, but still ofc inherits some of the weak points n54 had, regardless I appreciate the heads up as I’m Looking for an n55

Ngl N55 and N52 are the vest bmw engines there are so reliable and also a great when it comes to maintenance

B48 and b58 newer versions of those are even better. Reliability and power. N20 is also great despite what the Internet says, 5k max oil changes and will you give you years of reliable fun driving. BMW has been focusing on reliability and are getting better and better every generation.

My 2009 Gt 535i n55 has a really loud rattle at the cold starts which goes away after 30sek. If you tap lightly on the gas the noise disappears (it comes from the passenger side I think it might be the waste gate) . 3 Years ago I was at a bmw Dealership while I was still under warranty and they couldn’t figure out the problem…. Otherwise it drives great👌 Has anyone of you an idea what it could be?

Jonathan, I disagree with you man, I bought a f32 435 with 100000km and still had a balance of mototplan up until 110000km, It was owned by 1 owner which was a lady and always serviced on time through BMW yet a week after I bought it, it through a rod bearing and blew a whole out the engine, luckily a Brand new engine replacement was replaced through mototplan. I dont think the N55 is a reliable platform and firther more even with oil changes the car still through a rod bearing

I hate bmw but I liked just for this time ever just f90 competition, becuas eengine problems sloved and little problems have engines but this time f90 so overrated car😐I cant buy, and I think maybe replace f90 engine This f30 or f80 engine but how😂😅thats my idea just butbI need first for this money.....
