I was terrified by these ports and protocols. thought it would be my downfall. Then, I wrote down each protocol abbreviation with its port number down on paper around 10 times each, and then I made flashcards and quizzed myself with them for around 30 minutes. I now have memorized with 100% accuracy, all of the ports used in A+ and then some extra ones. I really shocked myself. Try this guys.

You know what would be helpful? A list of acronyms specifically associated with all the relevant ones associated with Core 1 and Core 2 notes. Acronyms alone are a large component that takes time and experience to learn and would help. Communication is based on the quick recognizing and understanding of acronyms in IT. I would pay for that for sure. I already bought both core notes and am working my way through the videos. Thank you for all this. • NetBIOS - Net Basic Input Output Service ○ This is used in Windows for it's file and printer sharing. § We used to do this to talk over a local area network. □ Now you can name your computers with a lot more characters, because they have DNS and can understand that. @esimiokorogheye4 жыл бұрын
From what I have read online it is a MUST you know the port numbers. In regards to the order you obtain the qualifications in that is up to you. But many would advise you get compTIA A+ first as you build a solid foundation revising the content in it and some of the foundational knowledge may pop up again in Security+
@TheMobsterFish3 жыл бұрын
Probably too late but you can take them in any order you'd like but A+ flows into Net+ which then flows into Sec+. So it's up to you but Sec+ is the most sought after to my knowledge.
