Thank you my friend! I've been taking this truck to different mechanics and they said they couldn't find a leak, turns out they were too lazy to look behind the shield,salute to you!

Great video. Used a 22mm standard (Craftsman) socket. Tightened it, felt the thread lock give. Maybe 1/8 -1/10 turn. Finished the oil change. No apparent leak

no te preocupes about your accent you get your point across, i have an exterra and i have an engine oil leak i dint know where it was coming from i though it was the oil filter until i power washed it and saw it was coming fr pm the back, i saw your video and bingo got the gasket and fix it. i thought the video was a bit long but its a good video.

Your English is better than my Spanish will ever be! What’s the cleaning spray that you use? I’m like your neighbor… always worried about drips.

Newbie here. What were you spraying to clean up the oil and gunk? Wd40 degreaser?
@dedwards0117Ай бұрын
Thank you for the video. Anyone can answer if they know. If the this is the source of the oil leak, will you smell oil burning when the truck heats up or will it just leave drippings on the ground?

Great job also did you drain the oil before doing this job? I just recently did my oil change and noticed I had that exact leak but I continue to to service my oil change as it was very bad after purchasing from original owner. Thanks
@RescueMoversDFW Жыл бұрын
You don't have to drain oil

Seemed pretty loose 2cd one I've seen that wasn't really tight. Could be why it leaks

Is it really necessary to change the oil filter? Mine only has about 1,000 miles since the last oil change i did
