When stunned you can still whistle command your crew on the sails. Its helpful if you get caught in the lightning and your sails aren't open.

I happened upon this video... I don't know if it still works since it's been a few years since I played but I used to put a crew on the steering wheel and then order the ship from the podium. This allowed me to order it to fire at a tentacle even while driving through an electrical storm. I survived by putting all of my points into fortitude as well as carrying med kits with full heel spec. I've done it solo in a brig this way, never a gally but I'm sure it would be even easier. I'm not sure if this helps but I'd be interested to know 🤘 Side note? Me and my friends used to sail the ships around with an extra crew built into the build for our PVE ships. We found it easier to do many things with a crew at the steering wheel.

@@Skarvig I think it's the same whistle commands menu for the animals. You just have to be on the boat... It's been a while. I just started playing again today after a couple of years

I killed this easy kraken multiple times with a common brig solo (on pvp servers) You need 1 point in damage, all handling sails, all 12 medium cannons in the gunports, some medkits, rally the troops and reload overdrive Takes about 800-900 cannonballs that way as you're not overshooting on the tentacles (6 common cannons with 1 point in dmg will kill a tentacle) If done properly, you will have around 5 minutes to spare at the end

Fair enough, I did think a brig or schooner would do better since you will travel faster and are more maneuverable.

I killed the Kraken season 1, 2, 3, in like 2018, 2019. It seems the lightniong balls were nerfed alot. Those had to be shot by players back in the day.

I see, I just basically ignored them. I've just done this on the official server now as well and it's a bit more chaotic, but basically the same fight. Solo takes about 1 hour, on live we took 1 ship and ran out of time since we didn't factor in the speed when doing prep.

Any news with Xbox crashing I was building a galleon it literally kept crashing every like 5 minutes plus there are a lot of bugs like I can’t paint my galleon properly when it is still building and I can’t place the down on the 3 deck when it is in building stage and I can’t place a sixth sail because apparently it is obstructed btw I love your videos

as buggy and horrible the game has become, gotta give it to wildcard, their music is TOP TIER. (talking about the kraken theme, not the music he inserted), but that 12:59 music when it was killed i really thought it was actually the game for a second xD

It's a good song, I'd have to look up the name again. It has a really good pause followed by that really triumphant ending great for things like this.
