The initials inside the fur coat are likely the owner's. Many had their initials embroidered in them years ago.

Most nicer old fur coats were 'embroidery initialed ' by the sellers to customize for the owners. My Mom's were all that way from the 60's and 70's. We were lucky that when my wife married me, it made her initials the same as my Mom's (for when we inherited them). 😁
