Previously I have told you that at the time of 2nd Round Table Conference an announcement for Communal Award was made. This Communal Award also famously known as the Macdonald Award was announced by the British Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald on 16 August 1932 granting separate electorates in India for the Forward Caste, Scheduled Caste, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, Indian Christians, Anglo-Indians, Europeans and Depressed Classes (now known as the Scheduled Caste). This Communal Award was a strategy of the British Empire to divide the Hindu Community and India as a whole from within. Gandhiji knew this and against this Communal Award he sat on a fast unto death at Yerawada Jail Pune on 20th September 1932. This act of Gandhi created a deep emotion among the leaders of the caste Hindus and the depressed classes who reached in an agreement in Poona to save Gandhiji’s life as well as the unity of the Hindu Community. The final agreement came out in the form of POONA PACT 1932. After this in order to solve the problems of the depressed classes, Gandhi founded All India Anti Untouchability League, to remove untouchability in the society, which was later renamed as Harijan Sevak Sangh also known as Servants of Untouchables Society. The most thing i hate about hindu religion being a hindu is because of its cast system.The people in the society itself made those people to untouchabilty category and when Dr Abedkar was finghting for the right of the untouchabilities it was noT gandhi who greatly opposed it but the upper class society and hindu sabhas were in the front line for the oppositions. At that time only Abedkar was the only man who understood the pain and struggle suffered by the untouchable peoples in India and he had fight for them. Even Gandhiji opposed ideas of Dr Abedkar because Gandhiji thought it would seperate the hindu religion which would affect the Indian Independence but Dr. Abedkar knows already that hindu religion is seperated even before Britishers comming to India and Abedkar was figting for them and for there basic rights Abedkar knows that first for the independence of India the inside society should develop.

भाई सवर्ण को आरक्षण हजारो साल से था । राजमंत्री, सैन्य, आचार्य, पुरोहित, ग्रमाप्रमुख,कायस्थ और हजारो पदोंपर सिर्फ सवर्ण जाती के लिये ही आरक्षण था। यहातक की जमीन भी जातीं के आधार पर बांटी जाती थी । नया गाव बस जाये तो सवर्ण को सैकडों एकड़ और दलित को कुछ भी नही । इसलिये दलित आरक्षण ये दलित का हजार साल का कंपेनसेशन है । सवर्ण के लडके पुरखों की जमीन और घर का पैसा होने के कारण शहर मे पढाई करते थे और दलित के लडके शाम को खाने को रोटी मिल सके इसलिये पढाई छोड के काम मजदुरी करते थे । इसलिये आरक्षण था ।

Correct bro. On the name of being Hindu they deceived depressed classes. Gandhi was not able to understand baba saheb's welfare vision for depressed classes who had been tortured and killed since thousands of years on the name of being lower caste. Actually Gandhi was of pure Hindu dogmatic person who accepted the so called varna system and casteism. He also believed in to have untouchability system but didn't accept from front side.

If some community has got reservation on the basis of whatever happened with them in past, then every religion except muslim and Christian should be given reservation, because Hindus, sikhs, and all other communities were persecuted in Mughal as well as British period.. Hindus didn't coined the term untouchables, it was only brahmin people who used to follow these things so don't connect whole thing with Hindus..
