I was recently told that my sensitivity to others' feelings and ability to act or speak according to their feelings, meant that I am actually being "manipulative" because I'm manipulating my actions or words around what I would normally say or do when not considering others' feelings. Is this true? Is "manipulative' the appropriate word to use?
