Did anyone notice that City College’s space simulator has CCCP on it? I It’s undoubtedly a reference to the Soviet Union, the acronym in Cyrillic for the USSR. The spread of City College was also a clear reference to the Domino Theory and the fear of communism’s spread. This episode was really well done, and I loved the references to the space race.

I feel like this is a _really_ underrated episode. Nobody really talks about it when they bring up the concept episodes, but it has some really great moments, inspired gags and hilarious quotes. Yeah, it's not a plot-heavy episode and it doesn't have much impact on the season... but I can forgive that because it's a lot of fun. I actually started watching the show during season two when it was first airing in 2010 (I later caught up with season one on DVD), and this was the first concept episode I encountered, and I thought it was friggin' brilliant. So it definitely has a special place in my heart.

Its the volume of your reactions vs the video you are watching. Your laughters for example are so much louder and takes over everything else. If you edit in Adobe premiere for example, try making sure the audio indicators always are at around the same db unit. I tend to keep my projects at -6 db. Hope i make some sense hehe

I bump the audio of the show up and down throughout the episode depending on whether we're talking or not. If we are talking or laughing I don't want the show audio to be at the same level because everything will sound muddy and ugly. In instances when we are talking or laughing, our audio is louder on purpose to show case our reaction to that moment. vice versa you will notice the show audio is louder when we are not talking or laughing so you can hear whats going on in the scene. the audio changes you are experiencing are done on purpose to show case scenes from the show and our reactions to them. hope that make sense.

I understand, and i agree that's how it should be done. But what i mean is that your reactions for example are much louder in general compared to when we see the video you are watching. It's like i have to manually lower the audio on youtube when you are speaking and laughting, (because its waking up my whole neighborhood), and then increase it once the video is in focus. Hence balance. :)

I see what you're saying. I edit with headphones on and idk if they have a built in limiter but its sounds fine to me. However it does sound a lot different through my monitor. I will double check the audio for the next release (which will be on patreon). The next few youtube releases will probably have the same issue for you but from 2x10 it should be good. Appreciate the feedback!
