@@robrick9361 I think Alison Brie is pretty close, but Annie is like a very muted version of her. and Joel/Chevy/Donald are all pretty similar to their real life self so its not that weird to be shocked at how different they are :P

That’s because the main writers are men and from the 50 writers this show had over the years only 10 were women (some of them wrote just parts of 1 or 2 episodes) , so nobody really wrote these female characters in a way who will do justice and bring popularity. Most people never mention a female character as their fav character from community, the only one it happens with is Annie’s character but seeing Alison, we KNOW she could be the main star of this show in even bigger ways :)
