Dan Harmon always wanted that lol its hilarious that him getting kicked off (and creating the ‘gas leak’ season and then the Yahoo largely unseen season) actually made the show take the ridiculous swings he always wanted to do (because it was supposed to be ‘make fun of a trope per episode’ and then evolved into its own thing that was semi-self aware)
