I was there and its so sad because it almost took 20 minutes for ambulance to come and to help to kid at the time the kid was already dead Bakersfield needs to do better.

This is why I don’t let my son ride his bike in the street. He’s told to stay on the sidewalk. Bike lane or not. My kid ain’t riding in the street. Screw the laws. My kids life is worth more to me than some stupid law saying bike should ride in the street.

A beautiful 13 years old baby boy the person that hit a beautiful angel needs to be in jail for life for killing a human this scene is not free the person that dries so fast that doesn't need to be in a rush they didn't even step up to the parents and say what they did is wrong the candles people need to be in jail not a misdemeanor not a fined take the lights and send the car and give the respect to the family
