This totally breaks my heart!💔 I knew Chauncy in Detroit from The Chauncy Glover Project at King High School for 11-12 grade young men. My son was his personal mentee. A wonderful project that elevated my son to greatness. He was the first to win Mentee of the Year through this program back in 2014. Chauncy was very present and stayed in both our lives even after my son went to college. What an unfortunate loss. 😢💔😢

I'm a New Yorker. Where I am, we have WCBS, the NY Affiliate. We also had a loss. Elise Finch. I want to say to all LA viewers and the Chauncey Family, R.I.P. to your beloved anchor. From looking at the thumbnail and watching the video, I see he was a force to be messed with. 39 years old. Look at all of the amazing things he was able to do with kids, keeping their minds pure and off the streets so they don't have to see darkness as the only way. What makes this tragic is his age. Just 39. R.I.P.

I remember when he worked here in Jacksonville, FL. He stood out more than the other personalities in the field on the news cast. We missed him ever since he left us here. My condolences to his family. 🙌 🙏🏾 😇.

He was one of the most prolific newscasters I've seen in a while, and honestly, I started liking KCAL news a lot more because of him, specifically to see if he would ever break for his stern on air professionalism. On air, you rarely ever ever caught Chauncy not looking like he was made for that job, but better. Sorry to hear about his passing, he was one of the rare newscasters that was 99.9% total professional and pleasant to always deliver in perfect tone, temperament, and character you know would always be there when he was on the air. RIP

What happened this brother was a perfect picture of health😮 he was in perfect shape for what I thought. Let you know you never know when your time is up. I remember when he was here in Detroit is one of our anchors for about a year. RIP CHAUNCEY 😔. SO YOUNG.
