The School Board is not engendering a whole lot of trust from anyone hiring an outside agency and not 'allowing' the AG to investigate. It makes them look as though they have something to conceal from authorities. The AG should NOT be taking no for an answer.

People as a whole need to recognize and understand one simple fact educators are not intelligent people and fail to command the understanding of common sense we need to arrest the notion they will protect any of our kids now or moving forward. repeating the same narrative over and over but expecting a dissimilar outcome is the very definition of stupid/ metal detectors might be a great place to start!

This lady's so upset 'cause her kid's asking "why am I being treated like a criminal " Very simple, explain he's being searched but he's not being treated like a criminal and explain is not because of him but they need to treat everyone equally so they all are safe, if he sees you are this upset about it of course he'll get upset too, think about when you're traveling and need to pass through security, you don't get upset there do you?

Every person no matter their age has the right to be secure in their person and their property. Some take that as invasion of privacy especially children. Your comment shows that you should read the Constitution.

Darn skippy if the parents didn't want to take the responsibility of getting the child out of the school then the school officials should have took the responsibility upon themselves as it is their responsibility for everyone safety. The people involved directly should most definitely lose their jobs at the least. Their decision making kept nobody safe and now you have a whole community suffering from PTSD.

The principle and district are holding on to dear life, their jobs on the line, reputation shot and parental trust in leadership eroded.

School shootings are so abundant in the US I’m not sure why it takes so long to get the kids back in class.
