I lost four of my family members last year in a house fire 🔥 my daughter Alicia,,she would have been 33 on Aug 20 ..my three grandchildren Ella Eva and Emery .my heart goes out to them .. sending prayers...and I'm praying they ❤have so much support ❤.

This is so tragic😢 but damn, it was so preventable! Sounds like some of those tiny ones should have just stayed home rather than traveling on such a tight shoestring.

Sometimes people takes those back roads to avoid fees. With children I don't think it was the way to go because 95 or the turnpike is not dark more lights and rest stops. I think it was not enough light out there, it's very dark. Too close to the water! And the family was not familiar with area. It caught them off guard especially visiting from another state. The rest of the family probably was familiar with driving the area, but they were not. They didn't expect to drive a long stretch then it just suddenly change to a curve fast. The signs don't help because should have been more placed up to the curve in my opinion. And it was too close the the water. I wish they took 95 or the turnpike.😢 75 road is the mess same scenario. The road is dark and water too. The canels are far from the road. There should have taken more precautions when building the road. The road should have been further away from the water. The water... I don't like to drive highways where there is a long stretch of water unless it far from the road because when the SUV hit the guard rail it went right into the water. If the road was built further a way from the water with bigger signs flashing every 50 to 100 feet maybe. The outcome would have been different. The SUV would have just flip over on the grass, not in the water and drown😢.
