I choose INJORA not just because it’s cheap. They show how to install their parts with videos, which helps me a lot since I’m new to RC and don’t know how to build. If other brands did the same, I might’ve bought from them too. 🤤
@wingnutbert9685

To add to that, Injora is available up here in Canada and a good selection on amazon Canada. With shipping, exchange, taxes, duties, fees buying from the little guys cost and arm, leg and a nut. around 2-3 times the US price. Absolutely not the little guys fault. Just is what it is unfortunately. Injora even adjusts their prices for the Canadian market, which is great.

Very comprehensive and useful video, for beginners AND advanced people 👍🏻 So far I’ve had only good experience with furitek different combos. For the price and performance straight out of the box with absolutely no tuning, the starter pack with the venom motor is insanely good and plenty powerful. I have yet to try the injora esc/motor but I’m sure it’s great too despite a less accessible tuning. That said, I’m excited to get my BKTT esc soon 🤗 for 50$ it’s by far the best option out there and future proof.

You can pop that injora esc right out of that case and fold the motor wires back over and heat shrink it and it’s pretty small then

Yep good stuff, I like running furitek stuff myself, I agree with ease of tuning through the app is cool, and one thing that wasn't mentioned is that you can run brushed or brushless with furitek escs.so beginners don't have to break the bank to get started, My favorite combo is a lizard with a venom for the extra punch, but the fat viper comes in second for motors!!! Great vid!!! Build what you love and have fun!!! 👍👍👍PEACE!!! Rock on!!!

I agree with Zac, and not because I am one. I love my MVP, it can be geared up on 2S, 3S you barely feel any temp, and 4S might get warm if you are driving it on Mercury. It really does great no matter how you gear and volt it. Something I've noticed with the AM32 based ESCs is that they have a bit more initial punch than the Furiteks. Escape/AM32 makes even 2S useful with a quick zip of wheel speed, but Furitek is softer with a slight delay. It can really bother me when I need the response and don't get it.

Personally I bought the furitek venom starter for my scx24 rig and then ended up getting a MOFO "ROP". I think the furitek esc's are really nice (pricey too) especially with the phone app, be sure to get the lizard pro with the built-in bluetooth module though. I did end up ordering the MOFO "ROP" because I wanted more wheel speed (also that purple anod looks fire) for certain obstacles, but I totally agree that the "SMP" is the overall king if you want the ultimate precision slow-crawl monster. I will say I want to look into some of these smaller brands for AM32 ESC's as I want to make use of the venom motor I now have laying around for a smaller build.

I choose for Water the Cedar, injora viper elsewhere. As ESC I buy a AM32 with good components there cheap and I can coat than to waterproof. Performance is a click below Furitek with FOC. If I am Trailing I would always choose an AM32 is way more efficient an has still the slow crawl. But always do what you love ❤️ AM32 V2.17 is very good

I was a fan of furitek. I had 10 of their escs one lizard pro just stopped working in reverse reached out to customer service. was told well being you don't know where you bought it from can't help you. I had 7 different trucks with the lizard pro all bought from a hobby shop or them . couldn't remember what truck had what esc. my bad lol. so I just bought a new one no real option then second issue had 3 of my lizard pros would at voltage cut off would just go wide open throttle. sooooo cool to watch your built rigs just jump off table . reached out again to them and was told if you figure that out let us know. so once the hobbywing mini24 esc was released I now have 12 trucks running them no issue "yet"
@2strokeboys191
@2strokeboys191 Ай бұрын
Been running furitek stuff the past 2 years and currently have 4 builds with there products all lizard pros with never an issue or a run away. I would be willing to bet your rig are running off the table because the voltage cut off is kicking in and killing power to the ESC which supplies the receiver. Same reason you don’t turn your rig on before your remote. Always power remote first to prevent run aways.

I switched to a brushless which is the 2400kv fat viper and MBL32 and since I don’t have a computer to tune it I’m running into a problem where sometimes the motor lags a bit but I think that’s because I haven’t been able to tune it. What about brushed combos? For FMS or RockHobby the original esc with a PM- racing 180 90T brushed motor are very smooth and don't have this bump, when coming out the FOC. And part of the tuning abilities of Furitek are crap, e.g. higher up the drag brake over 30%. The app even give a warning about that. ESC will burn. No big deal for worm-gears (don't need a drag brake), but not for ring and pinion! And instead of the cedar you can put just a little hobbywing in-runner in your crawler. Half the price, same performance (when using a crawler esc).
