So another good "sanding" tool is a woman's nail files. They come in different grits also and the foam nail files are great on curves. For details like body lines you can use a fine tip sharpie. It keeps them bolt and makes it pop. For some "weathering" you can use woman's makeup. I actually used it on my small tire build up make it look like it's "dusty".

I picked up a small cheap multi- file set about a year ago and its been worth its weight in gold! I use it so often on my 24s just getting tolerances perfect. Cool video! I learned something new (sanding needles) that I need to add to my toolbox. Thanks Yepp

Thanks for the video. Couple tips that I use with styrene bodies that should transfer to printed bodies… 1. I use the backside of an xacto blade to deepen panel lines before primer and paint. I prefer the blade over the scribing tool and by doing it before primer you will likely have a better line to work with and less of a chance of the blade jumping the line. 2. A rectangular pencil eraser works well as a “block” to wrap sand paper around both as a way to hold the sand paper and a way to work to a flat surface.

Hey Trey you can dunk that sandind block n water n it helps with dust and adding water actually helps yhe grit work because it keeps it rinsed out if ya dunk it every now n then the original intent of use was for drywall n ya know how bad drywall dust is Same as the sanding sponges thoe are more for automotive use originally both tools are great for stuff other than og design

The guys on the FB Ender group always talk about pouring acitone into a container and the fumes will smooth the print. Never tried it but the results look good. Or just get a Bambu Labs printer, because the prints look awesome compared to an Ender.

A quick blast of heat can help smooth out stubborn 3d printed textures as well. Scotchbrite pads are also nice.
